The PXN V9 is a racing steering wheel designed for a realistic gaming experience across multiple platforms including PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X&S, and Nintendo Switch. It features pedals, a shifter with handbrake functionality, and various customization options.

Connecting to PC
Steps:
- Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
- Plug the steering wheel's USB interface into the PC.
- The default working mode is X-input. A red indicator light will remain on upon successful connection.
- You can switch between X-input and D-input modes by pressing the MODE button for 3 seconds.
Mode Switching:
- X-input Mode: Recommended for games like Need for Speed 1-12, Euro Truck Simulator 2.
- D-input Mode: Recommended for games like Need for Speed 13, Dirt 2/3, Ridge Racer.
Connecting to PS3
Steps:
- Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
- Plug the steering wheel's USB interface into the PS3 console and power on the console.
- A solid red indicator light signifies a successful connection. You can then launch games or configure settings on the PS3.
Connecting to PS4
Steps:
- Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
- Power off the original PS4 controller. Connect the original PS4 controller to the steering wheel using a Micro USB cable.
- Plug the steering wheel's USB interface into the PS4 console and power on the console.
- Press the MODE button on the steering wheel. A solid red indicator light indicates a successful connection.
Connecting to Xbox One / Xbox Series X&S
Steps:
- Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
- Power off the original Xbox One/Xbox Series X&S controller. Connect the original controller to the steering wheel via a USB cable.
- Plug the steering wheel's USB interface into the Xbox One/Xbox Series X&S console and power on the console.
- Press the MODE button on the steering wheel. A solid red indicator light indicates a successful connection.
Connecting to Nintendo Switch
For Switch Console:
- Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
- Plug the Type-C OTG adapter into the Switch console.
- Connect the steering wheel's USB interface to the Type-C adapter.
- A solid red indicator light on the steering wheel signifies a successful connection.
For Switch Dock:
- Connect pedals and shifter as needed.
- Place the Switch console into the dock.
- Plug the steering wheel's USB interface into the Switch dock and power on the Switch console.
- A solid red indicator light on the steering wheel signifies a successful connection.
Note: The Type-C OTG adapter is not included.
Function Testing on PC
You can test the steering wheel's functions on a PC:
- Windows 7: Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Right-click Controller icon → Game Controller Settings → Properties → Testing.
- Windows 10: Settings → Devices → Devices and Printers → Right-click Controller icon → Game Controller Settings → Properties → Testing.
Advanced Settings and Features
Setting Maximum Effective Turning Angle
This allows you to set the maximum rotation angle of the steering wheel (e.g., 180 degrees total, 90 degrees left/right).
Steps:
- Turn the steering wheel to a 900° rotation angle.
- Press and hold the PROG button until the indicator flashes red.
- Turn the steering wheel to your desired angle (minimum 60 degrees) and press the OPTIONS button. The red indicator will remain ON when set successfully.
Sensitivity Adjustment
Adjust the steering wheel's sensitivity for different platforms.
- High Sensitivity: Press and hold PROG until the red indicator flashes quickly, then press '▲' on the D-pad to save.
- Medium Sensitivity: Press and hold PROG until the red indicator flashes quickly, then press '◀' on the D-pad to save.
- Low Sensitivity: Press and hold PROG until the red indicator flashes quickly, then press '▼' on the D-pad to save.

Button Programming
Customize button functions for enhanced gameplay.
Programming a Button:
- Press and hold PROG for 3 seconds until the red indicator flashes quickly.
- Press the Setting Button; the red indicator will flash slowly.
- Press a programmable button (A, B, X, Y, L1, L2, R1, R2) or a setting button (shifter gears, pedals, etc.). The red indicator will remain ON upon successful programming.
Programmable Buttons: A, B, X, Y, L1, L2, R1, R2.
Setting Buttons: Left paddle, Right paddle, Left pedal, Middle pedal, Right pedal, L3, R3, High/Low Gear button on Shifter, Handbrake button on shifter, 1-6 Gears on Shifter, R-Gear on Shifter.
Clear All Programmed Buttons: Press and hold PROG for 3 seconds until the red indicator flashes quickly. Press and hold PROG again to exit programming mode. Auto-exit occurs after 10 seconds of inactivity.
Clear One Programmed Button: Press and hold PROG for 3 seconds until the red indicator flashes quickly. Press the Setting Button twice. The red indicator will remain ON upon successful clearing. The steering wheel sensitivity will revert to a higher level.
Shifter Function
- High/Low Gear Shifting: The first button on the shifter is used to shift gears up or down in the game.
- Handbrake Switch: The second button switches the handbrake ON/OFF.
- Low Gear: Buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, R1.
- High Gear: Buttons 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, R2.

The V9 Tool app for mobile devices allows for advanced configuration, including:

Clamp Installation
The steering wheel includes a pair of clamps for desktop mounting.
Steps:
- Insert suction cups into bottom slots and rotate to lock.
- Insert clamps into bottom slots.
- Adjust clamps to the proper position.
- Clip the steering wheel onto the desk and tighten the screw staff.
Controller Guidance and Interface Connections
Diagrams illustrate the back of the wheel's interface connections, including ports for the controller, headphones, pedals, and shifter USB cable.
Audio Communication Function: The steering wheel supports audio communication on Xbox One, Xbox Series X&S, and PS4 platforms. Note that headphone and microphone functions may be affected on Xbox One/Xbox Series X&S when the shifter is connected.
Attention and Safety Precautions
- Avoid strong vibrations. Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the unit yourself.
- Prevent water or other liquids from entering the steering wheel to avoid affecting performance.
