Guida all'installazione

1. Caricamento delle etichette

1. Aprire il coperchio della stampante.
2. Place the label roll onto the paper roll shaft.
3. Insert the assembled label roll and shaft into the built-in label bin.
4. Feed the leading edge of the labels through the printer's feed slot until it is slightly past the print head.

The printer supports direct thermal labels with widths between 1 inch (25.4mm) and 4.5 inches (115mm), with a maximum print width of 4.25 inches (108mm).

2. Collegamento elettrico

Connect the power adapter to the printer and then plug the power cord into a wall outlet. Turn on the printer using the power switch.

3. Opzioni di connettività

The vretti 420B-WIFI printer offers both Wi-Fi and USB connectivity.

3.1. Wi-Fi Setup (Smartphone/Tablet)

1. Download the "wireless link" app from your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
2. Open the "wireless link" app and tap "Start" to begin the setup process.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts. Ensure your printer is switched on. Press the feed button for 6-8 seconds until a blinking blue light appears, then release.
4. Enter the password for your selected 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz networks are not supported).
5. Once connected, the app will display the printer's IP address. Copy this IP address.
6. Download the "4barcode" app from your device's app store.
7. Open the "4barcode" app, click "disconnect" if already connected, then select "Wifi".
8. Enter the copied IP address into the "4barcode" app and click "connect".
9. You can now open a PDF document within the "4barcode" app and choose your desired label size for printing.

3.2. Wi-Fi Setup (Windows Laptop)

1. First, obtain the printer's IP address using the "wireless link" app on your smartphone/tablet (refer to section 3.1, steps 1-5).
2. Insert the provided U Disk into your Windows computer.
3. Install the printer driver software from the U Disk. Follow the on-screen installation wizard, selecting the appropriate printer model.
4. Complete the driver installation.

Nota: Ensure your mobile phone and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

3.3. Wi-Fi Setup (Mac System)

1. Insert the provided U Disk into your Mac computer.
2. Install the "Barcode-printer-tool" from the U Disk.
3. Open the tool and click "Scan wifi".

3.4. USB Connection (Windows, Mac, Linux)

Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable. Ensure the printer is powered on. Install the appropriate drivers from the U Disk for your operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux). For Mac, if installation issues arise, check "System Settings" > "Privacy & Security" to allow the application to open.

3.5. Chromebook Support

For Chromebook users, locate the Chromebook extension on the provided U Disk. Drag and drop the extension file to your Chrome browser's extensions page to install it.

Istruzioni per l'uso

1. Stampa di etichette

Once the printer is connected and drivers/apps are installed, you can print labels from various platforms. The printer is compatible with major shipping and sales platforms including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, USPS, UPS, Etsy, PayPal, Poshmark, Pirate Ship, and Canada Post.

Before printing, download the label from the corresponding platform and then upload it to the editor APP (e.g., "4barcode") for printing.

2. Label Width Adjustment

The printer's adjustable guide rails allow for printing on labels ranging from 1 inch to 4.5 inches in width. Ensure the guide rails are adjusted to fit your specific label size to prevent misprints or jams.

Manutenzione

1. Pulizia della testina di stampa

Regularly clean the print head to ensure optimal print quality. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head from the center outwards. Allow the print head to dry completely before closing the cover and resuming operation.

2. Pulizia del rullo di stampa

The platen roller can accumulate dust and adhesive residue. Rotate the roller manually and wipe it with a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. This helps prevent label jams and ensures smooth feeding.

3. Assistenza generale

Keep the printer in a clean, dust-free environment. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on any part of the printer.

  • Ensure labels are not stuck together or damaged.
• Problemi di connessione Wi-Fi:
  • Confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. The printer does not support 5GHz.
  • Verify the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly in the "wireless link" app.
  • Ensure your printer, computer, and mobile device are all on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If the IP address is not obtained, try restarting the printer and the "wireless link" app.
• Mac Driver Installation Error ("Application can't be opened"):
  • Go to "System Settings" > "Privacy & Security", scroll down, and click "Open Anyway" for the driver application.
