4. Impostazione

4.1 Riempimento del serbatoio dell'acqua

  1. Assicurarsi che il ferro da stiro sia scollegato dalla presa di corrente.
  2. Set the steam control to the "Dry Iron" position (no steam).
  3. Aprire il coperchio dell'ingresso dell'acqua.
  4. Using a measuring cup, carefully pour tap water into the water tank up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill.
  5. Chiudere saldamente il coperchio dell'ingresso dell'acqua.

Nota: For optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup, distilled or demineralized water is recommended, especially in areas with hard water.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

5.1 Impostazioni della temperatura

The iron features an adjustable thermostat dial with five settings suitable for various fabric types. Always check the garment's care label before ironing.

  1. Collegare il ferro da stiro a una presa di corrente adatta.
  2. Turn the thermostat dial to the desired temperature setting based on the fabric type (e.g., Silk, Synthetic, Nylon, Wool, Cotton, Linen).
  3. Lasciare riscaldare il ferro. La spia si spegnerà al raggiungimento della temperatura impostata.

5.2 Stiratura a vapore

For effective wrinkle removal, use the steam function on appropriate fabrics.

  1. Fill the water tank (Section 4.1).
  2. Set the thermostat dial to the "Steam" range (usually Cotton, Linen, or higher settings).
  3. Once the indicator light turns off, indicating the iron is hot enough, adjust the steam control to the desired steam level.
  4. Iron the garment, moving the iron smoothly over the fabric.

Colpo di vapore: For stubborn wrinkles, press the Steam Shot Trigger. Wait a few seconds between shots to allow steam to build up.

Acqua nebulizzata: Press the Water Spray Trigger to lightly dampen fabric before ironing, which helps in smoothing out creases.

5.3 Stiratura a secco

For delicate fabrics or when steam is not desired.

  1. Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam control is set to "Dry Iron" (no steam).
  2. Set the thermostat dial to the appropriate temperature for your fabric.
  3. Iron the garment without activating the steam or spray functions.

5.4 Cottura a vapore verticale

The iron can be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments, drapes, or upholstery.

  1. Fill the water tank (Section 4.1).
  2. Set the thermostat dial to the "MAX" or highest steam setting.
  3. Hold the iron vertically, about 1-2 inches away from the fabric.
  4. Press the Steam Shot Trigger repeatedly to release bursts of steam.

5.5 Auto Shut-Off Feature

For safety, your OMAIGA Steam Iron is equipped with a 3-way auto shut-off feature:

The iron will automatically reheat when moved.

6. Manutenzione

6.1 Funzione autopulente

Regularly use the self-cleaning function to remove mineral deposits and maintain optimal steam performance.

  1. Riempire il serbatoio dell'acqua fino alla linea "MAX".
  2. Plug in the iron and set the thermostat to "MAX".
  3. Once the iron reaches maximum temperature (indicator light off), unplug it.
  4. Tieni il ferro orizzontalmente sopra un lavandino.
  5. Press and hold the Self-Clean button. Hot water and steam will flush out mineral buildup from the soleplate.
  6. Scuotere delicatamente il ferro avanti e indietro finché il serbatoio dell'acqua non è vuoto.
  7. Release the Self-Clean button.
  8. Riscaldare nuovamente il ferro per asciugare la piastra, quindi scollegarlo e riporlo.

6.2 Anti-Calc Function

The built-in anti-calc system helps prevent limescale buildup, extending the life of your iron. Regular self-cleaning (Section 6.1) is still recommended.
