The Gre SCGPHP100 is an advanced pool water treatment system that combines salt electrolysis for disinfection, an integrated pH controller, and a dosing pump. This system eliminates the need for traditional chemical chlorine, providing a more natural and comfortable swimming experience.

Figure 1: Complete Gre SCGPHP100 system including the main control unit, electrolysis cell, pH probe, and calibration solutions.
Caratteristiche principali:
- Integrated Disinfection: Salt electrolysis system produces natural chlorine from salt, eliminating the need for chemical chlorine.
- pH Control: Built-in pH controller with an automatic dosing pump maintains optimal pH levels in your pool water.
- Alta capacità: Capable of producing 21 g/h of chlorine, suitable for pools up to 100 m³.
- Comfort migliorato: Natural chlorine production reduces odors and eye irritation commonly associated with chemical chlorine.
- Chemical-Free Handling: Minimizes the storage and handling of hazardous pool chemicals.
2. Informazioni sulla sicurezza
Read all instructions carefully before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the equipment.
- Scollegare sempre l'alimentazione prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione o assistenza.
- Garantire una corretta messa a terra elettrica.
- Tenere l'unità lontana dalla luce solare diretta e da temperature estreme.
- Do not operate the system if any part is damaged.
- Mantenere una ventilazione adeguata attorno all'unità.
- Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
- Consult a qualified electrician or pool professional for installation if unsure.
3. Installazione e configurazione
3.1. Disimballaggio e ispezione
Rimuovere con attenzione tutti i componenti dall'imballaggio. Verificare che tutti i pezzi siano presenti e integri. Fare riferimento alla lista di imballaggio per un inventario completo.
3.2. System Placement
Install the main control unit in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from direct weather exposure. The unit should be mounted vertically on a wall or sturdy surface near the pool's filtration system.

3.3. Collegamenti idraulici
- Electrolysis Cell: Install the electrolysis cell (salt cell) in the return line of your pool's filtration system, after the filter and heater (if applicable). Ensure the flow direction arrow on the cell matches the water flow.
- Sonda pH: Install the pH probe in a dedicated probe holder or a suitable location in the plumbing line where water flow is consistent.
- Pompa dosatrice: Connect the suction tube of the dosing pump to a container of pH-reducing liquid (e.g., liquid acid). Connect the injection tube to an injection point in the pool's return line, typically after the electrolysis cell.

3.4. Collegamenti elettrici
Connect the main control unit to a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. Ensure all connections are secure and comply with local electrical codes. Connect the electrolysis cell and pH probe cables to their respective ports on the main unit.
3.5. Initial Pool Water Preparation
- Aggiungere sale: Add pool-grade salt to your pool water to achieve a concentration of 4 g/l (grams per liter). Circulate the water until the salt is fully dissolved.
- Balance Water Chemistry: Before starting the system, ensure your pool's alkalinity and calcium hardness are within recommended ranges.
4. Istruzioni per l'uso
4.1. Accensione
Once all connections are made and the pool water is prepared, switch on the power to the unit. The display will illuminate, showing the current pH reading.
4.2. pH Probe Calibration
For accurate pH readings, calibrate the pH probe regularly (e.g., monthly or after long periods of inactivity). Use the provided calibration solutions (pH 7.0 and pH 4.0).

Figure 6: pH 7.0 and pH 4.0 calibration solutions.
- Rinse the pH probe with distilled water.
- Immerse the probe in the pH 7.0 solution. Press the "CAL" button and follow the on-screen prompts until calibration is complete.
- Rinse the probe again.
- Immerse the probe in the pH 4.0 solution. Press the "CAL" button and follow the on-screen prompts until calibration is complete.
- Return the probe to its holder in the plumbing line.
4.3. Setting pH Target
Use the "SET" button to adjust the desired pH target level (typically between 7.2 and 7.6 for pools). The system will automatically dose pH-reducing liquid to maintain this level.
4.4. Regolazione della produzione di cloro
The unit features a "Power selector" to adjust the chlorine production level (e.g., 0%, 50%, 75%, 100%). Start with a moderate setting and adjust based on pool usage and chlorine demand. The "SALT" indicator will illuminate if salt levels are too low.
5. Manutenzione
5.1. Electrolysis Cell Cleaning
The electrolysis cell may accumulate scale deposits over time, especially in hard water areas. Inspect the cell regularly (e.g., monthly) and clean as needed.

Figura 7: Angolato view of the electrolysis cell, showing the internal plates.
- Turn off the system and close all valves to isolate the cell.
- Remove the cell from the plumbing.
- Soak the cell in a diluted acid solution (e.g., 1 part muriatic acid to 4 parts water) for no more than 15 minutes, or until deposits dissolve. Indossare indumenti di sicurezza adeguati.
- Risciacquare abbondantemente con acqua dolce prima di reinstallarlo.
5.2. pH Probe Maintenance
- Keep the pH probe tip moist when not in use, preferably in a storage solution or pH 7.0 buffer.
- Clean the probe tip gently with a soft brush if deposits are visible.
- Recalibrate the probe regularly as described in Section 4.2.
5.3. Salt Level Monitoring
Regularly check your pool's salt concentration using a salt test kit. Maintain a level of 4 g/l for optimal system performance. Add salt as needed.
6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi
| Problema | Possibile causa | Soluzione |
|---|---|---|
| Nessuna produzione di cloro | Low salt level; Dirty electrolysis cell; Low water flow; System off. | Check salt level and add salt; Clean electrolysis cell; Ensure pump is running and filter is clean; Turn system on. |
| Incorrect pH Reading | pH probe needs calibration; Dirty pH probe; pH probe faulty. | Calibrate pH probe (Section 4.2); Clean pH probe; Replace pH probe. |
| pH Not Adjusting | Dosing pump not working; Empty pH-reducing liquid container; Clogged injection line. | Check dosing pump power/operation; Refill liquid container; Clear injection line. |
| "SALT" Indicator On | Livello di sale troppo basso. | Add pool-grade salt to achieve 4 g/l concentration. |
