Introduction

With just the press of a button, this lightweight, compact ice maker creates ice cubes in as little as 9 minutes, and can make up to 26 Ibs. of bullet-shaped ice in 24 hours. Perfect for refreshing smoothies, coffees, cocktails, iced tea and even seafood, the Quickcube is low-noise and ultra-portable, and cleans itself in 30 minutes for ultimate hands-free maintenance.

Setting Up

1. Remove all components from the package.
2. Remove the tape from the ice basket and ice scooper, then thoroughly clean the tank and ice basket.
3. Place the ice maker on a flat, hard surface, away from direct sunlight, and leave 4 inches on each side of the unit.
4. Let the ice maker sit for 2 hours so the refrigerant fluid can settle.
5. To insert the handle into the ice maker, rotate it to the same angle as the mounting hole on the unit, then insert it. Check that it is firmly connected with the ice maker.

Using the Ice Maker

1. Plug the power cord into an AC outlet.
2. Open the top cover, remove the ice basket, and pour clean water into the tank until it reaches the maximum water level line.
3. Press the Power Button on the control panel to begin making ice. It will take approximately 9 minutes depending on the surrounding room temperature.
4. The ice maker will stop making ice when the ice basket  is full, and the “Ice Full” indicator will turn on. Scoop ice from the basket and enjoy!

Self-cleaning Feature

1. Press and hold the Power Button for at least 5 seconds.
2. The ice maker will begin its self-cleaning cycle.
   The “Ice Full’ and “Add water” indicators will flash during the self-cleaning process.
3. After 30 minutes, the indicators will stop flashing.
   Drain the water from the inner tank through the drain cap at the bottom of the ice maker.

Cleaning & Maintenance

1. Remove the ice basket from the ice maker.
2. Gently wipe the interior of the ice maker with a soft cloth, warm water and diluted detergent, then use water to rinse the interior. Use a mild detergent solution and warm water to clean the exterior.
3. Drain out any water by unplugging the drain cap on the bottom of the ice maker.
4. Dry both the interior and exterior of the ice maker with a clean, soft cloth.
5. Change the water inside the water tank every 24 hours to maintain proper hygiene.

Important Safeguards

Carefully read these safety precautions to avoid serious personal injury and/or damage to the product:

• Only use the ice maker on a hard, flat surface.
• Do not place your hand in or near the ice maker while it is making ice.
• Do not use the ice maker if its power cord is damaged in any way.
• Unplug the ice maker before cleaning or performing any maintenance on it.
• Use caution when using the ice maker around children.
• Do not cover the cord or submerge it in water.
• Do not use an extension cord with the ice maker.
• Do not tilt or tip the ice maker over.
• Only use water to make ice cubes with the ice maker.
  Do not use any other liquid.
• Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the ice maker.
  Doing so may void any warranty in place.
• Do not use the ice maker outdoors in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or near water or any other liquid.
• Keep a minimum distance of 4 inches free on each side of the ice maker.
