The product requires the use of UTP connectors. Please connect in the direct interconnection method and do not cross-connect.

- a. HDMI signal input port, connected to the HDMI source device.
- CAT Out
- a. RJ45 connector to the CAT In port on the receiver with CAT6/6a cable.
- Link Signal Indicator (Green)
- a. Light on: The Transmitter and Receiver have a good connection signal.
- b. Light Flashing: The Transmitter and Receiver have a poor connection signal.
- c. Light Off: Transmitter and Receiver are not connected.
- Data Signal Indicator (Yellow)
- a. Light On: There is an HDMI signal transmission with HDCP encryption.
- b. Light Flashing: There is HDMI signal transmission without HDCP encryption.
- c. Light Off: There is no HDMI transmission.
- PC Connection
- a. Connection to PC. The computer can be accessed and controlled remotely through the USB port of the receiver (KVM function).

Note: The extender kit supports power over Ethernet. This means that either the transmitter or the receiver can be powered with the included power supply, and the other connected device does not need a power supply.

- EDID DIP Switch
Use the DIP switch to set EDID. (Switching to the upper end- a. indicates 1; switching to the lower end indicates 0.)
- b. 11 – EDD information is copied from the display at the RX.
- c. 10 – EDID is preset to 4K @60Hz 2.0CH.
- d. 01 – EDID is preset to 1080p 2.0CH.
- e. 00 – EDID information is copied from the HDMI OUT at the TX.

Note: The extender kit supports power over ethemet. This means that either the transmitter or the receiver can be powered with the included power supply, and the other connected device does not need a power supply.
Hardware Installation
Receiver
- Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI “Out” on the rear of the receiver to an HDMI display.
- Connect a 3.5mm cable from the LIR Audio port on the receiver if using the audio de-embedder (optional).
- Connect an Ethernet (Cat 5e/6/6a) up to 230ft to the CAT In Port of the Receiver.
- If using keyboard and mouse control, connect a standard USB keyboard and USB mouse to the USB ports on the front of the receiver.
- Connect the included power adapter from the transmitter to a 120V source unless utilizing POE from the Transmitter.
Transmitter - Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable used in step 3 to the CAT Out port of the Transmitter.
- If using keyboard and mouse control, connect the included USB cable from the USB port on the front of the transmitter to the supported source device.
- Connect the included power adapter from the transmitter to a 120V source unless utilizing POE from the receiver.
- Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI “Out” on the rear of the transmitter to a local HDMI display (Optional).
- Connect the HDMI source device via an HDMI cable to the HDMI “In” Port on the rear of the transmitter.
