Manual programming

To use manual programming and adjust set point temperatures to suit your routine, follow these steps:

  1. Access the programming menu on your appliance
  2. elect the Manual Prog. option
  3.  Select:
    • Activate: your radiator will follow the saved programme
    • View: View the saved programme
    • Change: Create a programme or view a saved programme
    • Copy: Copy a particular day to one or more other days

Follow the steps described on the radiator screen.

Automatic Timer function

  • With the Automatic Timer function, the radiator records the routine of the occupants of the room and takes account of its heating parameters to automatically create a schedule. Using adaptive activation control, it starts heating in advance to reach the right temperature as soon as the room becomes occupied.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, if the occupants are absent or return early, the radiator immediately adapts to the new routine.
  • You can view, reset, deactivate or set the absence or presence set points in the Automatic Timer menu.

Programming by Pilot Wire
The pilot wire can be connected to an energy manager, which will send operating commands to the appliance.

Intuis-H-K160113-Nativ-Horizontal-image (29)

Locking the thermostat :Locking
Several locking levels are available

 Basic lock:
This level of locking prevents any changes to the thermostat settings with the exception of the sleep function, which can be accessed with a single press. To activate it, select the «Basic» option. To deactivate it, press the knob for 5 seconds

Intuis-H-K160113-Nativ-Horizontal-image (30)

PIN code lock:

To deactivate it, hold down theIntuis-H-K160113-Nativ-Horizontal-image (31) button for 5 seconds to be able to enter the code again.

«Hotel» Lock
This locking level restricts access to the thermostat settings while allowing con-trolled adjustment of the set point temperature within a range of +/- 2°C. Select the «Hotel» option and choose a four-digit code to activate it. To deactivate it, hold down Intuis-H-K160113-Nativ-Horizontal-image (31)the button for 5 seconds to be able to enter the code again.

Energy saving

  • With this nativ radiator’s built-in energy saving function you can manage electricity consumption intelligently and responsibly.
  • This feature helps to relieve the national grid by anticipating peak periods when demand for electricity is highest.
  • It anticipates periods when the electricity grid is under heavy load and stores 100% of its heat capacity in its inertial heating element when necessary. During periods of high demand on the power grid, and depending on the time slot entered, the native radiator will reduce its power consumption by between 20% and 60% without compromising the comfort of the occupants, thus relieving demand on the grid.
  • Enter 1 or 2 time slots during which you want the native heater to reduce its power.
  • To deactivate an energy saving range, set its duration to 00:00.

ECO temperature
The Eco temperature set point is pre-set to 15.5 °C by default, but can be adjusted to suit your preferences. This Eco temperature will be applied in the following situations:

  1. An ECO command is received via the Pilot Wire: if your radiator is connected to an energy manager via the Pilot Wire.
  2. Activating the absence detector: When the absence detection function is activated and the room is deemed to be unoccupied, the Eco temperature set point will be applied.
To save energy, the Eco temperature should be set lower than the usual comfort temperature.

Absence detector

  • Only for signature appliances.
  • To use the absence detection function, make sure the detector is set up. (see p.13)
  • When absence detection is activated, the thermostat optimises energy consumption by automatically adjusting the set point temperature according to the occupancy of the room. This saves energy when the occupant is away by keeping the temperature low, while ensuring comfort when an occupant is present.

Intuis-H-K160113-Nativ-Horizontal-image (32)

Open Window Detector
Then open window detection is activated, the thermostat constantly monitors the room temperature. If a significant drop in temperature is detected in a short space of time, the thermostat interprets this as the opening of a window and reacts by switching off the heating. This avoids wasting energy by heating the room unnecessarily.

Intuis-H-K160113-Nativ-Horizontal-image (33)

If an open window is detected, the window symbol appears large on the screen and an audible signal is emitted. Pressing the knob will automatically switch the heater back on.

See page 19 to deactivate the open window detector.

Harmonization
It is normal for there to be a slight difference between the temperature displayed on the appliance and that on an external thermometer. However, if this difference is greater than +/- 1°C, the displays can be harmonised to obtain a better match.

To adjust the temperature measured by the radiator and correct the discrepancy, take the following steps:

  1. Make sure to follow the instructions in the installation manual, particularly with regard to positioning and minimum distances.
  2. Close all external doors and windows and the inside door(s) of the room heated by the radiator.
  3. Place your thermometer in the centre of the room at a height of about 1.2 m. Do not place it on any item of furniture.
  4. Check that your set point is between 17 and 23 °C.
  5. Wait for the room temperature to stabilize (about 6 hours) and avoid coming and going in and out of the room as much as possible.
  6. Check that the temperature readings on the radiator and on the thermometer are stable. This adjustment can only be made if the above conditions are met.
  7. In the «Harmonization» menu, set the temperature measured by your thermometer. (adjustable between 7°C and 23°C).
  8. Confirm the changes.
