GUIDE

DESCRIPTION OF THE NEMTEK COMMUNICATIONS TASK
The Nemtek communications task provides a high level interface between the Integriti controller and the Nemtek Electric Fence Energizers, I/O Cards and Terminal.
Automation points are used as part of the Nemtek Electric fence integration to map Integriti entities to NEMTEK entities (e.g. Nemtek Energizers).
The NEMTEK communications task scans over the Integriti entities used within the Automation Points for changes and sends data to NEMTEK Electric Fence Energizers .
The NEMTEK communications task also processes incoming messages from NEMTEK and can update the Integriti entities.
The NEMTEK communications task · Requires a High Security Fence IP HLI license (IR-996025) · One IR-996025 interface is required for each Nemtek Druid or I/O module being integrated. · Requires a SMART card to be fitted to the IAC/ISC

Configuring the communications task
To create the Automation communications task, follow the procedure below

1. Click on the

tab followed by .

2. Click

to create a new communications task.

3. In the window that appears, enter a name for the communications task and enter any necessary notes in the notes field.

4. Under Comms Task Setup drop down the type list box and select NEMTEK.

5. Optionally, set an input that will be used to reflect the status of the communications task.

Inputs C01:Z33-Z99 are ideal for this particular application. This input will go in to alarm if the communications task fails.

For TCP connections to NEMTEK Automation system 6. Expand out Configuration Tab. 7. Enter the IP address of the NEMTEK Electric Fence Terminal in the IP Address field.
The NEMTEK Communications task can only be configured for a static address.
8. Enter the port in the TCP Port field. 9. Expand Out the Energizers Tab.
