EXPLANATION OF WARNING SYMBOLS AN NOTES
This symbol indicates information that contributes to a better understanding.
This symbol indicates that there are fundamental risks to the health of persons.
INTENDED USE
This InLine® PCI Express card expands your system by allowing two internal NVMe M.2 SSDs to be operated via M.2 slots (Key M). The card is designed for use in PCIecapable desktop or server systems – provided that your motherboard supports PCIe 3.0 and the required bifurcation function.
NON-INTENDED USE
The following is considered to be non-intended use in the sense of foreseeable misuse:
- Install the InLine® PCI Express card 2x internal NVMe M.2 Key M in the correct slot, otherwise the computer and card may be damaged.
- Do not disassemble the PCIe network card.
- Do not connect M.2 SSDs if your motherboard does not support bifurcation or the number of SSDs that can be read is limited by the CPU.
Please always switch off the power supply before installing the PCI Express card to avoid the risk of electric shock.
If you encounter difficulties during installation, please contact a specialised company or the dealer from whom you purchased the card.
INTRODUCTION
The InLine® PCI Express card 2x internal NVMe M.2 Key M – Bifurcation enables the parallel operation of two NVMe SSDs via M.2 slots. With a PCIe 3.0 x8 connection, the card offers a maximum bandwidth of up to 64 GB/s, with each port supporting transfer speeds of up to 4 GB/s. Hyper M.2 technology, automatic lane configuration and integrated LED indicators ensure optimal performance and easy error diagnosis.
System requirements Hardware:
- PC with a free PCIe 3.0 x8 (or x16 Slot)
- Motherboard that supports PCle bifurcation
Before installing and activating the PCI Express card, please make sure that you have a full backup of your existing data on the hard disk. The manufacturer is not responsible for data transmission due to misuse, misapplication or negligence. If you have an installation problem, please contact your dealer.

BIOS/UEFI settings for PCle bifurcation
To get the most out of the card, the PCIe slot used often needs to be set to bifurcation mode in the BIOS/UEFI. This splits the available PCle lanes of the slot into several independent channels (for example, from an x8 slot into two x4 channels), so that both M.2 SSDs can be operated simultaneously.
The exact name and location of this setting varies depending on the motherboard manufacturer and the BIOS/UEFI version. Terms such as ‘PCle Bifurcation’, ‘Lane Splitting’, ‘PCIe Slot Configuration’ or ‘PCle Lane Allocation’ may be used. Please consult your motherboard manual to find the correct setting and check whether both NVMe SSDs are correctly recognised after configuration.
HARDWARE INSTALLATION
- Switch off the computer and unplug the power plug.
- Remove the computer cover to access a free PCIe slot.
- If not already done, insert the desired M.2 SSDs into the card’s M.2 slots.
- Find an open PCIe x8 (or x16) slot that supports PCIe 3.0 and make sure that your motherboard has activated the bifurcation function.
- Carefully align the card with the slot and firmly insert the PCle connector into the slot.
- Secure the card to the chassis with the bracket screw and use the supplied low profile bracket.
- Replace the computer cover and reconnect the PC to the power supply.
- Start the computer – the card is automatically recognised and (if necessary) the appropriate drivers are loaded by the operating system.
