Product Usage Instructions

Hardware Setup

Connect the Kit with a test PC using the provided USB Type-C to
Type-A cable.

USB-UART COM Port Setup

1. Open a UART terminal software like Tera Term or Minicom.
2. Connect to the kit’s USB-UART COM port with the following
   settings: Stop bit – 1-bit, Flow control – None.
3. Press the reset button (SW1) on the EVK board to reset the
   device.

Demo Application

1. Run the pre-programmed code example.
2. Observe the “Hello World” message on the serial terminal and
   ensure that User LEDs (LED1, LED2) blink sequentially.
3. Press the enter key or use USER BTN1 to pause or resume the
   blinking of LEDs.
4. Follow the instructions displayed in the boot-up message.

Q: How do I reset the device?

A: You can use software like Tera Term or Minicom for UART
communication.

Connect the kit with the UART terminal so ware 1. Open the UART terminal so ware such as Tera Term or
Minicom and connect to the kit’s USB-UART COM port using the following settings:
­ Baud rate: 115200, Data: 8-bit, Parity: None,
Stop bit: 1-bit, Flow control: None
2. Press the reset button (SW1) on the EVK board to reset the device.

Run the pre-programmed code example
1. Observe that the “Hello World” message is displayed on the serial terminal and terminal and ensure that the two User LEDs (LED1, LED2) blink sequentially.
2. Press the enter key to pause or resume the blinking of the user LEDs. Alternatively use USER BTN1 to pause or resume the blinking.
3. Follow the instructions shown in the boot-up message (see the figure).
