Product Information
The 49-VW-01 Quadlock CANbus steering control interface is designed for Volkswagen, Seat, and Skoda vehicles. This interface provides steering wheel control commands to the new head unit and gives CAN signal outputs such as speed pulse (pink wire), illumination (orange wire), reverse gear (purple wire), and hand brake (green wire).
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installing the interface, make sure to connect the patch lead (49-series) to the interface.
- Connect the interface to the vehicle harness.
- Use the following controls on the interface for various functions:
- A – Volume up
- B – Volume down
- C – Track up
- D – Track dow
- E – Source/Preset up/Phone*
- F – Preset down/Source
- G – Mute/Source/Phone answer
- H – Preset down/Mute
- I – Phone*/Phone answer
- J – Phone reject
- For phone-related functions, use short press to answer and long
press to reject.
*The phone function may not be available in all models.
