Shortcut Keys:
The keyboard features various shortcut keys for functions like Undo, Brightness adjustment, Lock, Task View, Screenshot, Media controls, and more. These operations are applicable only to Windows devices.

Mouse Crossover Function:
If connected to two different Windows devices via Bluetooth channels 1 and 2, you can enable the mouse crossover function to transfer files between devices under the same local area network.
Note that the transfer speed depends on the network bandwidth.

How to Use F1-F12:
You can press [Fn] + [Lock] to unlock/lock the function keys.
The behavior of the function keys changes based on the Fn Lock status.

Combination of Fn and Other Keys:
Short press [Fn] + [Bluetooth Channel Indicator] to enable/disable Fn Lock. Long press initiates pairing mode.

LED Indicator:
The keyboard features LED indicators for Caps Lock, Bluetooth connection status, and battery level. Refer to the manual for detailed meanings of different indicator states.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I reset Bluetooth pairing on the keyboard?
A: To reset Bluetooth pairing, go to the Bluetooth settings on your device, delete the existing pairing records for Inateck KB06101, and perform a factory reset by holding [Fn] + [Bluetooth Channel Indicator] simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Bluetooth Pairing

Step 1: For the first use, slide the power switch to the On position and then KB06101 will automatically enter Bluetooth Channel 1 pairing mode. To enter the Bluetooth pairing mode, you can also hold + simultaneously. When the Bluetooth indicator flashes in blue, it means KB06101 is in Bluetooth Channel 1 pairing mode.

Step 2: On your iPad or Windows devices, turn on Bluetooth and then “Inateck KB06101” will show up in available devices list.
On Windows 11 devices, go to “Settings—Bluetooth and other devices—Turn on Bluetooth—Add devices—Bluetooth” to find “KB06101”.
On iPad OS 17 devices, go to “Settings—Bluetooth—Turn on Bluetooth” to find “KB06101”.

Step 3: Tap “Inateck KB06101” to pair it with your device and then the Bluetooth indicator will stay solid in blue, which means that Bluetooth pairing is completed.

Fix Bluetooth Pairing Problems：

Step 1: Go to Bluetooth page, find “Inateck KB06101” in paired devices list and delete the previous pairing record. If there are multiple pairing records, please delete them all.

Step 2: Hold simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the five indicators will blink for 3 times once the factory reset is completed.

Step 3: Turn off Bluetooth on your device and turn it back on. Then, pair it with your Inateck KB06101.

Shortcut Keys

Note: The following operations are only applicable to Windows.

AI Key Function Description
On Windows devices, the AI key can be used to wake up Inateck Origin, a software that supports AI translation, AI chat, and other functions.

Hold the AI key for 2 seconds to access the Inateck Origin download page. You can also search for Inateck Origin on the Microsoft Store to download it.
Short press the AI key:
1. If no text is copied, it will activate AI chat;
2. If text is copied, it will activate AI translation.

Mouse Crossover Function
If the keyboard is connected to two different Windows devices via Bluetooth channels 1 and 2 (up to three devices) under the same local area network, you can enter Inateck Origin to enable the mouse crossover function,allowing the transfer of documents, spreadsheets, images, and other files. Note: The transfer speed is affected by the bandwidth of the local area network.

How to Use F1-F12
You may press + to unlock/lock the . (The keyboard disables the lock by default.)

When the Fn Lock is enabled:
Press F1 can trigger the functionality owned by F1 key;
Press the combination of Fn+F1 simultaneously will dim the brightness of the screen.
This method applies to all F Keys (F1-F12).

When the Fn Lock is disabled (Default Status):
Press F1 can dim the brightness of the screen.
Press the combination of Fn+F1 simultaneously will trigger the functionality owned by F1 key.

Restore Factory Defaults

Hold + for 3 seconds and then the five indicators will blink for 3 times once the factory reset is completed.

Check Battery Level

Hold + simultaneously to check the battery level according to the blinking frequency of the red battery indicator.

Charging

When the battery level is under 20%, the red battery indicator will blink. You can connect the included USB cable to recharge the keyboard for 2~3 hours. The recommended charging voltage is 5V. The red battery indicator will stay solid when the keyboard is charging. Once it’s fully charged, the battery indicator turns to green.

Sleep Mode
When KB06101 is left idle for 10 minutes, it will enter sleep mode and the Bluetooth connection will be disrupted.
The connection can be rebuilt with a press of any key.
