Frequently Asked Questions

How can I restore the factory settings on my Bluetooth speaker?

You should only need to do this briefly with most Bluetooth speakers. The power and Bluetooth buttons must be pressed and held simultaneously in order for almost every Bluetooth speaker to be reset.

How can I activate pairing mode on my speaker?

Choose Bluetooth options from the settings menu on your phone (both Android and iOS). Under Bluetooth settings, navigate to the other devices area. Ensure that discoverable mode is selected on your phone. Choose the speaker you want to pair by clicking on it under “other devices.”

How can I tell when the battery in my Bluetooth speaker is full?

A series of LED lights on the front of your speaker will illuminate once it is plugged in and remain glowing until charging is finished.

Why won’t my Bluetooth pair?

Go to Settings > System > Advanced> Reset Options > Reset Wi-fi, mobile, & Bluetooth on Android devices. You must unpair all of your iOS and iPadOS devices (go to Setting > Bluetooth, choose the info icon, then select Forget This Device for each device). restart your phone or tablet after that.

Does a Bluetooth speaker require WiFi?

Instead of an internet connection, short-range radio waves are how Bluetooth operates. This means you don’t need a data plan or even a cellular connection for Bluetooth to function anywhere you have two compatible devices.

Do all Bluetooth versions function together?

Bluetooth devices utilizing the recently announced Bluetooth 4.2 standard should still be able to pair with devices using, for example, the dated Bluetooth 2.1, introduced back in 2007. Bluetooth is generally backward compatible. The exceptions are devices or accessories based on Bluetooth Smart, a low-energy variant.

What Bluetooth level is the highest?

Iteration 5.0 of Bluetooth is the quickest. It handles more than 8 times as much data while processing connections at a rate of 2 times the speed over a range of 4 times. High-performance gadgets will therefore be more responsive the faster the speed.
