Super Clamp with Ratchet Handle / T-Handle
INSTRUCTIONS

Introduction

Thank you for choosing Impact.
Impact’s Super Clamps feature screw-operated jaws with clamping widths of 0.5 to 2.1 inches. The clamps hold up to 33 pounds of gear, and they feature a hex snap-in receiver that prevents slipping or turning once your gear is attached. The ratchet handle design is perfect for using the super clamp in tight spaces, and it allows you to operate the jaws even when the handle can’t rotate 360 degrees. The CC-106T’s T-handle design is low profile and allows you to place the clamp close to walls. The super clamps are made to securely clamp onto tubes like light stands, poles, and trusses. An included wedge can be added for clamping to flat surfaces like tables, shelves, or doors.

Attaching the Clamp

Clamping onto a Tube

1. Turn the ratchet handle or the T-handle counterclockwise to open the jaws wide enough to fit around the tube.
2. Place the clamp around the tube so the clamp’s V-shaped jaw makes contact with the tube.
3. Turn the handle clockwise to tighten until the clamp is secure.

Note: If the ratchet handle won’t turn a full 360°, pull it out so it disengages, and turn to reposition it. Release it so it snaps in and reengages with the clamp, and continue to tighten.
Clamping onto a Flat Surface
Insert the wedge into the clamp.This creates two flat surfaces that will allow you to attach the clamp to a tabletop or shelf, or vertically on a set wall or door.

Mounting Lights and Accessories

Mounting Gear with Hexagonal Snap-in Pins

1. Loosen the locking knob so the screw is clear of the hex receiver, and press and hold the hex safety lock.
2. Slide the hex pin into the receiver and release the hex lock. Then tighten the locking knob until secure.
3. Mount your device onto the hex pin.

Accessories with 1/4-20 or M5 Threaded Studs
Mount accessories with a 1/4-20 or M5 stud by screwing them into the appropriate receivers.For other devices, an adapter may be needed.

One-Year Limited Warranty

This Impact product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider’s responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider’s discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.
This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, THE WARRANTY PROVIDER MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights that vary from state to state.
To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Impact Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to Impact along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
