6. Look in the mirror. Pull your lip forward, insert one side then the other. Center IMAKO® teeth by looking at your nose. Check the height of the sides to ensure that your natural teeth are not showing. Press and pinch firmly against each tooth. Press through your upper lip to thin the pink plastic. Use one hand to hold each side in place and the other hand to keep the front from moving. Hold the position for 2 minutes and no longer.
7. After 2 minutes, remove the teeth one side at a time Don’t touch the top! Let cool on the counter and try them on! If not satisfied, put back in hot water, scrape plastic back to the original position, remelt and try again.

8. To prevent discomfort, use nail clippers or scissors to trim the tips of any points formed where two teeth meet the gum. If there is any visible plastic below the tooth line, dip the area in hot water and pinch away the excess plastic with your fingers.

Do not allow IMAKO® to completely set in your mouth! If device is stuck DO NOT USE FORCE! In order to remove the teeth, take a mouth full of hot water and tilt your face toward the ground, insuring that the IMAKO® teeth are fully engulfed by the hot water. The plastic will begin to soften when placed in contact with the hot water. Be sure to test the water temperature prior to placing it in your mouth to avoid burns.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Eating is not recommended while wearing. Avoid smoking and high-dye content foods and liquids such as red wine, coffee, mustard, curry, tobacco, lipstick, etc. To clean, soak the IMAKO® teeth in peroxide overnight. Thoroughly rinse the teeth of any remaining peroxide prior to the next use.
Missing Some Teeth?
Optional: In order to fill any major gaps in your teeth, use IMAKO® Moldable White Fitting Beads to make projections on the inside surface of the IMAKO® teeth where the gaps are located.
Melt two beads per missing tooth. Dip the area where you have a missing tooth very briefly in hot water and place beads there. Place the IMAKO® teeth back in your mouth and from behind, press the warm plastic to butt up to your neighboring teeth, but not behind them. Let cool until the material is slightly hard and remove.
Be conservative, it’s easy to add more but hard to take away. For teeth missing on one side, use melted beads to wrap halfway around the last tooth. To wear, put this side on first and take it off last.
