Minimum recommended mattress size for this cot/cot bed is 120 cm x 60 cm and with a thickness not exceeding 12 cm. See marking on the cot.
· Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers because they can cause suffocation.
Important!
Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.
Cot bed
· When the child is able to climb out of the cot, convert cot to cot bed following the assembly instructions provided.
· Tighten all assembly fittings properly before use. Check all fittings regularly and retighten as necessary.
· Do not use the cot bed if any part is broken, torn or missing. Contact your local IKEA store for replacement parts. Do not substitute parts.
· Do not place the cot bed near a window where cords from blinds or drapes may strangle a child.
Care and maintenance

· Tighten all assembly fittings properly before use. Check all fittings regularly and retighten as necessary.
· The lowest position of the bed base is the safest. To prevent falls the mattress base should be adjusted to the lowest position as soon as the baby is old enough to sit up.
· Thickness of the mattress shall be such that the height from the upper surface of the mattress to the upper edge of the cot frame is at least 500 mm in the lowest position of the cot base and at least 200 mm in the highest position of the cot base.
· To prevent injury from falls when the child is able to climb out of the cot, the cot shall no longer be used for that child.
