RGBCW wiring

Wire Connection:

1. Please prepare the cable like picture Pl and strip the isolation to 4-5 mm. The cable cross-section be between 0,33 and 2,08mm2 (AWG22-14).
2. Now push down the terminal with a screwdriver and put in the cable, see picture P2.
3. Take the screwdriver away and the cable is connected with the terminal.

Wire preparation

Used to prepare:

• On picture P3-P4 you can see examples for the connection of different LED controllers:
• P3 for RGB+CCT(warmwhite+coldwhite) products
• P4 for CCT(warmwhite+coldwhite) products

Connection &How to wire more:

1. Prepare 5V/12V/24V power supply, light strip and controller.
2. Wiring of power supply, light strip and controller is completed according to figure P3 or P4. (Powrerl can also be used as the input terminal)
3. Power on the power supply, and the light should be always on or breathing flicker at this time.
4. Make sure the device, mobile phone and gateway are close to each other.
5. Download and open the APP: Search “Smart Life” in the App Store or scan the QR code on the outer package/manual to download and install the APP; For the first time to download and use, please click “Create a new account” button to register; If you have an account, click the “Login with your existing account” button.

The net is set

1. 0pen the “My Home” page of the smart life APP, and click the “+1′ button on the upper right corner of the page;
2. Select “Add manually” mode, and select “Lighting” on the left list page;
3. Put the device in the state of distribution network: after the breath flicker of the device, click the “0K” button on the page to enter the distribution network process (if the light is not in the mode of breath flicker, reset the device for 3 times on and off)
4. After successfully adding the device, you can see the device successfully configured in the “My Home” page.

Note:

1. When using this device, you must provide your own ZigBee gateway.
2. The light must be in the breathing flashing state to connect to the Internet normally.
3. When resetting the device, it is necessary to power off the controller input for 3 times. Power off at the power input may fail.

How do I connect to Alexa?

Here’s an example of Amazon Echo

1. Completed product networking configuration in the Smart Life APP
   • Network configuration is completed according to the guidance in the APP
   • Note: In the App, configure to change the device name to a name easily recognized by Alexa, usually an English name such as “Bed Light”.
2. Configure the Amazon Echo device
   If you already have Amazon Echo configured, you can skip this step. The following instructions are for the iOS client.
   • Make sure your Amazon Echo device is powered up and connected to a Wi-Fi network.
   • Open the Alexa App on your phone, and click the menu in the upper left corner of the Home page, select “Settings”, and click “Set Up a New Device” to Set Up the Amazon Echo Device.
   • Select your Amazon Echo device type and language for networking, follow the instructions and hold the dot on the device until the light turns yellow, then click “Continue” to access the connection hotspot.
   • After connecting to the hot spot of Amazon Echo, it returns to the page. At this time, it is successfully connected. Click “Continue” to go to the next step, choose a Wi-Fi network to connect to the Internet, and Amazon Echo will try to connect to the network for a few minutes.
   • After the network connection is successful, click “Continue” and an introduction video will appear. After the video is played, click “Continue” to jump to Alexa’s Home page. At this point, the configuration process of Amazon Echo is over.
3. The key step — binding Skill
   Click on “Skills” in the Alexa App menu.
   • Then search for “Smart Life”. Click “Enable” to Enable Skill.
   • Enter the smart life APP account password after entering, and then click “Link Now” to bind your smart life APP account, Skill can be enabled, and the journey of smart home can be started.
4. Use control words
   • Now you can control your smart device with the Echo. You can control your device (e.g.,
   • Bedroom Light) with the following commands:
     • Alexa, turn on DEVICE-NAME.
     • Alexa, turn off DEVICENAME.
     • Alexa, set DEVICENAME to fifty percent.
     • Alexa, set DEVICE-NAME to cooler.
     • Alexa, set the bedroom light to red.

Fault phenomena and treatment methods

• What should I do if I cannot connect to a ZigBee controller?
  Please check whether the equipment is wired wrong.
• What if the light is not breathing?
  Power on and off three times, normal speed operation, not too fast or too slow.
• If the light does not enter flicker mode for three times, what should I do?
  Power must be off at the controller input end. When the power plug is disconnected, the reset may not be successful because of the power supply surplus.
