IDEC FC6A is a multifunctional PLC equipped with powerful IoT capabilities, all within compact hardware.
It supports the MQTT protocol, allowing the PLC to connect to MQTT brokers and cloud services. Additionally, it features a dedicated user interface for connecting to AWS IoT Core, enabling PLC programmers to easily establish communication between the PLC and AWS IoT Core.

WindLDR software is required to program the PLC application. IDEC offers the Automation Organizer suite, which includes the WindLDR software. The part number for purchasing Automation Organizer is SW1A-W1C. Please check with an IDEC distributor or an authorized online retailer.

Set Up Device Hardware
- <Power Supply>
The IDEC FC6A Plus requires a 24V DC power supply. Connect the 24V power supply unit to the connector on the FC6A. - <Internet Connection>
The FC6A Plus has two Ethernet ports. Port 1 is located on the upper side, and Port 2 is on the lower side of the unit. To connect to AWS IoT Core, use Port 1 (upper side).
