- Attach the automatic buttonhole foot R.
- Place a button in the buttonhole foot's holder to measure the size.
- Select the buttonhole stitch pattern on the stitch selector dial.
- Pull down the buttonhole lever.
- Begin sewing. The machine will automatically sew the buttonhole to the correct size.
Free-Arm Sewing
To convert the machine to free-arm sewing, simply slide off the accessory storage box. This exposes the narrow free arm, ideal for sewing cuffs, sleeves, and other small, circular items.
