  • This infrared thermometer is intended for measuring surface temperatures only. It is not designed for use on humans or animals, and readings obtained from such applications will be inaccurate.

  1. Laser Hole: Emits the targeting laser.

The INKBIRDPLUS INK-IFT01 requires one 9V 6F22 battery for operation. A new battery can provide approximately 12 months of continuous use.

  3. Insert a 9V battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.

  1. Point the thermometer at the target surface.
  2. Press and hold the trigger to activate the laser and begin live temperature readings. The laser dot indicates the center of the measurement area.
  3. Release the trigger to hold the current temperature reading on the display. The reading will remain on the screen for a short period before the device automatically powers off to save energy.

5.2 Distance to Spot Ratio (D:S)

The INK-IFT01 has a Distance to Spot Ratio of 12:1. This means that at a distance of 12 units from the target, the measurement spot diameter will be 1 unit. For example, if you are 12 inches away from the target, the measurement area will be 1 inch in diameter. To ensure accurate readings, make sure the target area is larger than the spot size.

5.3 Nha Okpomọkụ Mgbanwe (℃/℉)

To switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉), press the dedicated ℃/℉/Down Button located below the LCD screen. The display will update to show the selected unit.

5.4 Adjustable Emissivity

Emissivity is a measure of an object's ability to emit infrared energy. Different materials have different emissivities. The INK-IFT01 allows you to adjust the emissivity from 0.1 to 1.0 to improve measurement accuracy for various surfaces. To adjust emissivity, press the MODE button to enter the emissivity setting, then use the Up na Ala bọtịnụ ịgbanwe uru.
