This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Taurus Velvet 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker. Please read all instructions carefully before first use and retain for future reference.
The Taurus Velvet coffee maker is designed for brewing up to 12 cups of drip coffee, featuring a glass carafe, a reusable filter, and an automatic shut-off function for convenience and safety.

Melite

- First Cycle (without coffee): Fill the water reservoir to the MAX 12-cup line with fresh, cold water. Place the empty reusable filter in the filter basket. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet. Press the On/Off switch to start a brewing cycle. Allow the full cycle to complete. Discard the water from the carafe. This process cleans the internal components and removes any manufacturing residues.
- Nkwanye: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
Ntuziaka ọrụ
- Jupụta ebe nchekwa mmiri: Open the top lid of the coffee maker. Fill the glass carafe with the desired amount of fresh, cold water (refer to the cup markings on the carafe). Pour the water from the carafe into the water reservoir. Do not exceed the MAX 12-cup line.
- Tinye ebe kọfị: Place the reusable filter into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the reusable filter. A general guideline is one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup, but adjust to your personal preference.

- Ọnọdụ Carafe: Place the empty glass carafe onto the warming plate. Ensure it is properly seated to activate the drip-stop mechanism.
- Malite ime ime: Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet. Press the On/Off switch. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the brewing cycle has begun.
- Na-eje ozi: The brewing process will automatically stop when all the water has passed through. The warming plate will keep the coffee hot until the automatic shut-off activates. You can remove the carafe at any time during the brewing cycle to pour a cup, and the drip-stop feature will temporarily halt the coffee flow. Return the carafe to the warming plate within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.

- Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio).

- Start a brewing cycle. After about 5 minutes, turn off the coffee maker and let it soak for 30 minutes.
- Turn the coffee maker back on and let the cycle complete.
- Discard the vinegar solution. Run 2-3 cycles with fresh, cold water to rinse thoroughly.
