The reading distance is affected by the distance between the readers IDESCO T101 Cardea Access Control Reader - icon.
Note: Some mounting surface materials affects to reading distance, for example metal reduces it.
Tamper can be enabled as needed.
A change in the reader’s position triggers an alarm.

Note: If the tamper is enabled, it re-learns normal position at each startup. To setup the tamper correctly, keep the reader in final installation position when powering on or configure the reader after the installation.
The output and input operations are based on grounding.
The maximum open-circuit voltage is 30 VDC.

  5. Main LED’s colours and their external controls are configurable
  6. Can be used for reader firmware updates

The colors match the accessory cable supplied by Idesco.

INSTALLATION

The exact dimensions of the products can be found on the following page.

  1. Install the mounting plate Attach the mounting plate to the wall with screws.
    Note: Do not overtighten.
    We recommend using dome head screws suitable for the wall material.

  2. Wiring the reader
    2A) Thread cable through the hole in the connector housing cover but do not remove the grommet.
    Use a cable approximately 6mm ±0.5mm thick.
    2B) Connect wires to connector in correct positions (follow guide on page 2).
    Note: Incorrect wiring can permanently damage a reader.
    2C) Install connectors to the reader.
    2D) Press the connector housing cover into place.

  3. Attach the reader
    Attach the reader to the mounting plate with a hinge-like motion.
  4. Tighten the security screw
    Tighten the security screw (M3 x 12 mm) from the bottom of the housing.
