Product Usage Instructions
Module Programming Procedure – PTS
NOTE: Ensure the hood is closed before starting.
- Close the driver door and then reopen it to wake up the data bus.
- Press UNLOCK on the OEM remote. If no OEM remote is present, use the module programming button.
- Wait for the LED to flash BLUE once. If it doesn’t flash GREEN, repeat step 2.
- Set ignition to OFF position.
- Disconnect the module from the vehicle as the last step before connecting it to a computer for extended programming.
- Repeat steps 4-6 eight times (8x).
- Wait for the LED to turn solid BLUE for 2 seconds.
- Set ignition to ON position.
- The module programming procedure is completed when the LED flashes BLUE rapidly.

FIRMWARE:
This installation requires BLADE-AL (DL)-CH12 firmware, flash module, and controller firmware update before installation
FACILITY:
Type 5 vehicles use CAN connections in the harness at the OBD-II connector, the included CAN extension cable is not required.
ON:
Type 5 ignition is available at the trailer package connector (black, 13-pin connector, pin #8, pink), located to the left of the steering column.

MODULE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE – PTS
NOTE

- Wait, LED will fl ash BLUE once [1x]. If the LED does not flash GREEN, repeat step 2.

- Wait, if LED turns solid RED proceed to step 6. If LED fl ashes BLUE rapidly proceed to step 10
- Set ignition to OFF position.
- Repeat steps 4 to 6, eight times [8x].
- Set ignition to ON position.
- Wait, the LED will flash BLUE rapidly.
- Set ignition to OFF position.
- WARNING: Disconnect power last. Disconnect the module from the vehicle
- Connect the module to the computer and proceed with extended programming.
- WARNING: Do not press the module programming button. Connect power first. Connect module to vehicle.
- Set ignition to ON position.
- Wait, the LED will turn solid BLUE for 2 seconds.
- Set ignition to OFF position
- Module Programming Procedure completed

IMPORTANT
All vehicle doors must be closed and locked before the remote start sequence. Failure to comply will result in a remote starter malfunction.

TIME RESTRICTION COMING UP!
- Unlock the vehicle door using an OEM or after-market remote, or door request switch.
- TIME RESTRICTIN Within 45 SECONDS from the previous step: Open vehicle door. Enter vehicle. Close the vehicle door. Press and release the BRAKE pedal.
- Take-over procedure completed.
- Failure to follow procedure will result in vehicle engine shutdown.
