Stain, mold, mildew, crack and chemical resistance. Not darken or change color with age or exposure to moisture. Ready to use, no manual mixing or stirring needed. Easy to apply. No more that sort of physical labor to float the grout into the joints. Easy to clean. Just scrape the residue after it cures in 4 hrs at 77°F (25°C). No more 2-3 times of water and sponge wash. No more haze cleaning. Much friendly to epoxy allergy people due to no skin touch the material. When properly installed, it can last for decades without needing replacement, providing long-term cost savings and peace of mind. It has flexibility, allowing for slight movement in the tiled surface without cracking or breaking, which is particularly beneficial in areas prone to structural movement. It withstands a wide range of temperatures, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications. 3 / 15 Tricks to do the installation: 1. DO NOT use water or sponge to wash the excess during installation. This product is not water cleanable. 2. For any rough, abrasive, texture, unglazed or not smooth surface tiles, spread the cleaning paste (works as anti-bonding wax) over the joint surface before dispensing the grout. Otherwise, the strongly bonded excess would not-that-easy to remove. 3. Dispense slowly to make joints fully packed and the material count. 4. When shaping the grout, make sure to divide the excess from the material inside the joints. This would make scraping the excess very easily after it sets. 5. In cold weather (below 40°F or 5°C), the grout may become viscous and difficult to be squeezed out. Put the cartridges into hot water (around 140°F or 60°C) or a heating bag (if hot water is not available or inconvenient to get) for 10 minutes to soften the material before use. 4 / 15 Specifications Joint width: 1/16"-3/8". Volume: 13.5 fl oz / 400 ml, Part A & B each half. Shelf life: 1 year from manufacture date. Pot life: months (reusable as long as two components are not mixed). Initial set: 4 hrs at 77°F. Storage: 40°F-100°F. Temp Resistance: of the cured grout against -4°F~212°F. 5 / 15 Coverage 1 unit = 95 linear ft Note: based on the 1/16" width, 1/8" depth joint being fully packed, and loss of material is not taken into account. Dry site matters. Wet or damp site would affect product's performance. It is another difference from water cleanable grout. Better to vacuum the joints. Too much dust left inside would affect the bonding. 7 / 15 Spread the cleaning paste (works as anti-bonding wax) lightly OVER the tile joint surface before dispensing. DO NOT spread the paste inside the joints. It facilitates the clean up of the cured grout excess. It is a must for any rough, texture, abrasive, unglazed, or not smooth surface tile. For glazed tile, this step could be waived, although the wax still much more facilitates the residue removal. If using masking tape to remove the excess, this wax could be waived. And it needs not wait for the curing to remove the excess. Able to peel off right after the grout shaping. Just peel slowly to avoid taking out the grout. 8 / 15 Step 2: Ready the Cartridge Keep the cap if to reseal for a next time usage. Store erectly. For 1/16" or 1/8" joint width, the default 5/64" nozzle outlet is good to go. Just make sure no burr at the outlet. Cut or press the outlet to the joint condition. Either a vertical or tilt nozzle cut is ok. The 2nd nozzle is only for standby. 9 / 15 Press the button to pull back or push forward the rods. To stop the material flowing out, press the pressure release button. Lock the cartridge neck in position to fix well. 10 / 15 Get rid of the initial 4 inch material, of which the two components are regarded not mixed evenly, and thus not advised to grout the joint. Visually check the mixing state in the nozzle. 11 / 15 Step 3: Do the Grout Dispense slowly to make joints fully packed and the material count. When shaping the grout, the trick is to divide the excess from the material inside the joints. This would make scraping the excess very easily after it cures. 12 / 15 Scrape the excess and the job is done. 13 / 15 Applicable in cold weather In cold weather (below 41°F or 5°C), the epoxy may become viscous and difficult to dispense out. Heat the cartridge with head down in hot water (140°F or 60°C) for 10 minutes. This helps the grout flow. Do not heat too long time, which may liquidize the material and void the performance. Heat in a bucket, sink or washbasin.
