Craftsman Generator Quick Start/Stop Guide
The Quick Start / Stop Guide is not a substitute for reading the manual. The manual includes instructions that you must follow to use the product safely.
Included Items

Install the Wheel Kit
A diagram illustrates the process of installing a wheel kit onto the generator. It shows the generator frame and wheels, with arrows indicating where the wheels and related hardware should be attached.
Prevent Carbon Monoxide (CO) Poisoning
This section emphasizes the danger of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. It advises using the generator outdoors and at least 20 feet (6.0 m) away from any home, with the exhaust pointed away from all homes and occupied spaces. It also recommends installing CO alarms inside the home. A visual shows a house, a generator, and a cloud with a warning symbol, indicating the danger of exhaust fumes.
Safety Warning: Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas that will kill you in minutes. You cannot smell it, see it, or taste it. Even if you do not smell exhaust fumes, you could still be exposed to carbon monoxide gas.
Extension Cord Warning: Extension cords running directly into the home increase your risk of carbon monoxide poisoning through any openings. If an extension cord running directly into your home is used to power indoor items, the operator recognizes that this increases the risk of CO poisoning to people inside the home and assumes that risk.

- Not Recommended: Extension cords running directly into your home to power indoor items are not recommended.
- Home Power Restoration: Install a listed* transfer switch as soon as possible if this or any generator will be used to restore power to your home.
