Product Usage Instructions

System Off
Stops all watering.

Set Date and Time
Sets the controller date/time like a clock, so it will water at the right time on the right day.

Set Start Times
A Start Time is the time of day a program starts watering.

Set Station Run Times
A station is usually a valve, connected to sprinklers. The Run Time sets how long the station runs, and how much water is applied.

Set Water Days
Water Days are the days on which a program waters at the selected start time. Turn the dial to Water Days. Press PRG to select the program (A, B, C, or D). Current water day schedule is shown at bottom of display. Each program may have Day of Week, Odd Dates, Even Dates, or Interval Day programming.

• Q: How do I manually operate a single station?
  A: Immediately turns on a station.
• Q: What does the Rain Sensor Bypass Switch do?
  A: The bypass switch allows watering, even when the rain sensor is active. If the bypass switch is enabled, watering will occur as scheduled. If the rain sensor is active, the schedule will adjust according to the sensor.
• Q: How can I add a Solar Sync sensor for Seasonal Adjustment?
  A: Add an optional Solar Sync sensor for automatic daily Seasonal Adjustment to local weather conditions. Select Region (1-4) with + and -. Set Water Adjustment factor (1-10). For detailed information, see the Solar Sync documentation or visit us online.

SYSTEM OFF

Stops all watering.

• Turn dial to System Off position to stop unexpected watering immediately. Wait 2 seconds for OFF to appear in display.
• RAIN OFF: When display says OFF, press + or – to set a number of days off, then turn dial back to Run.

SET DATE AND TIME

Sets the controller date/time like a clock, so it will water at the right time on the right day.

• Turn dial to Date/Time.
• YEAR: Press + or – to set . Press to advance to month.
• MONTH: Press + or – to set. Press to advance to DAY.
• DAY: Press + or – to set date. Press to advance to TIME.

• TIME: Press + or – to select AM, PM, or 24 HR. Press to set the hour, + or – to change the hour. Press to go to minutes, + or – to set minutes.

SET START TIMES

A Start Time is the time of day a program starts watering.
A program only needs one Start Time to run all of its stations.

Turn dial to Start Times.

• Select program (A, B, C, or D) by pressing PRG.
• Press + or – to change the Start Time in 15 minute increments.
• Additional Start Times will repeat the entire program (up to 8 starts per program).
• Add start times by pressing  and setting the next start, if desired.

To eliminate a Start Time:

• Press + or – to change the Start Time to OFF, between 11:45 PM and 12:00 AM (or between 23:45 and 0:00).

SET STATION RUN TIMES

A station is usually a valve, connected to sprinklers. The Run Time sets how long the station runs, and how much water is applied.

Turn dial to Run Times.

• Select program A, B, C or D by pressing PRG (display shows program letter). Station number is shown with run time. Press + or – to set run time.
• Press to advance to next station desired in the program.
• Repeat for each station in program.

• Water Days are the days on which a program waters at the selected start time.
• Turn the dial to Water Days.
• Press PRG to select the program (A, B, C, or D).
• Current water day schedule is shown at bottom of display.
• Each program may have Day of Week, Odd Dates, Even Dates, or Interval Day programming.

DAY OF WEEK SCHEDULES

• Choose the desired watering days of the week.
• Select program (A, B, C, or D) by pressing PRG.
• Day pointer begins on Monday.
• Press + for water day, press – for no water.
• shows water day, shows no water day.
• Pointer will advance to next day after +/- buttons are pressed.
• Repeat until week is set correctly.

RAIN SENSOR BYPASS SWITCH

The bypass switch allows watering, even when the rain sensor is active. If the bypass switch is enabled, watering will occur as scheduled. If the rain sensor is active, the schedule will adjust according to the sensor.

SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT

Adjusts all station run times in all programs by a percentage. Return to 100% to restore original programming.

• Turn dial to Seasonal Adjust.
• Press + or – to change run times by a percentage.
• Setting changes run times in 5% increments, from 5% to 300%.
• 50% = half as much water.

SOLAR SYNC

• Add optional Solar Sync sensor for automatic daily Seasonal Adjustment to local weather conditions.
• Select Region (1-4) with + and -.
• Set Water Adjustment factor (1-10). For detailed information, see the Solar Sync documentation or visit us online.

MANUALLY OPERATE A SINGLE STATION

Immediately turns on a station.

• Turn dial to Manual.
• Station run time will flash. Press to move to the desired station.
• Press + or – to set the desired run time.
• Turn dial to RUN position to run the station.

MANUAL PROGRAM START (One Touch Manual Start & Advance)

• Immediately turns on a station.
• Turn dial to RUN.
• Press and hold until station 1 appears.
• Quickly select another program by pressing PRG.
• Wait 3 seconds for watering to begin.
• Press to advance to another station, and watering will begin on that station.
