Pre-Flight Setup and Pairing

Before operating the drone, follow the sequential startup procedure to ensure reliable 2.4GHz radio frequency binding and sensor stabilization.

  1. Place the fully charged GT3 Max drone on an open, flat, and level horizontal surface.

  2. Press the power button on the top fuselage. The integrated circular duct LED lights will begin flashing rapidly to indicate pairing search mode.

  3. Press and hold the power button on the center of the remote controller to turn it on.

  4. Push the left control stick (throttle) fully upward, then pull it fully downward. The drone's LED lights will change from flashing to solid, confirming successful transmitter pairing.

  5. Verify that the live FPV camera image appears on the remote controller's integrated display screen.

Flight Operations and Smart Modes

The GT3 Max offers automatic assistance functions including one-button takeoff and landing, altitude hold, palm launching, multi-speed shifting, and obstacle detection.

  1. Takeoff: Ensure the flight path is clear, then short press the One-Click Takeoff button. The motors will spin up, and the aircraft will automatically ascend and hover at approximately 1 to 1.2 meters.

  2. Palm Launching: With the aircraft held horizontally and clear of fingers, press takeoff to launch from an open palm.

  3. Speed Switching: Rotate the left shoulder roller to cycle between Low (3 m/s), Medium (4 m/s), and High (6 m/s) flight speed gears.

  4. Obstacle Avoidance: Press the Obstacle Avoidance button on the left of the controller to enable the three-sided infrared sensing system. The aircraft will detect nearby barriers (such as walls or hands) and maneuver away automatically.

  5. Headless Mode: Press the Headless Mode button. The aircraft will navigate according to the direction of the control sticks regardless of which way the drone's nose is pointing.

  6. 360° Stunt Roll: Fly the drone to at least 2 meters above the ground, press the Rolling button on the right side of the controller, and push the right joystick in the desired direction to perform an aerial flip.

  7. Landing: Press the One-Click Landing button while hovering. The drone will slowly descend and power down its motors upon touchdown. In an emergency, press and hold the same button for an immediate motor shutoff.

Camera Operation and Video Transmission

The drone features an electrically adjustable front camera paired with an underside optical flow camera. Video can be viewed directly on the controller's built-in LCD screen or transmitted via Wi-Fi to a paired mobile application.

  • Camera Tilt Adjustment: Rotate the right shoulder servo roller to tilt the front camera lens vertically between straight-ahead viewing and steep downward angles.

  • Capturing Photos: Short press the dedicated photo button beside the display screen to take a picture.

  • Recording Video: Short press the video button to begin video recording; short press it again to stop and save the video clip.

  • Local Storage: If recording high-resolution files, insert a compatible micro SD memory card into the slot located on the side of the screen remote controller.

  • Gesture Capture: When using mobile app transmission, display standard hand gestures within camera view to trigger automated countdown photo and video capture.

Gyroscope Calibration and Reset Procedures

The GT3 Max does not have an independent physical factory reset button or software menu reset. If the aircraft exhibits erratic hovering, drifts during flight, or experiences an impact, perform a gyroscope calibration to reset sensor leveling and flight stability.

  1. Place the drone on a completely flat, rigid, and level surface.

  2. Turn on both the drone and the remote controller, ensuring they are properly paired.

  3. Press the Correction / Calibration button located on the right side of the controller, or push both joysticks simultaneously diagonally downward and outward (left stick down-left, right stick down-right).

  4. The drone's circular duct LED lights will blink rapidly during sensor recalibration and then illuminate solid when the flight reset is complete.

Care, Maintenance, and Flight Safety

Adhering to proper operating guidelines extends the lifespan of the drone components and minimizes the risk of damage or collisions.

  • Fly primarily in indoor settings or calm, wind-free outdoor environments. Because of its ultra-lightweight design (approx. 70g to 120g), the drone is sensitive to wind gusts exceeding light breeze conditions.

  • Maintain an operational radius within 50 to 80 meters to ensure consistent video feed and control signal stability.

  • Do not operate in temperatures exceeding 35°C (95°F) or below 0°C (32°F), as extreme temperatures cause rapid battery drain and erratic flight.

  • Regularly inspect the circular propeller duct guards and rotor blades for hair, dust, or physical cracks. Use the included screwdriver to replace damaged blades with matched spare blades.

  • Allow the drone motors and battery pack to cool down for several minutes between consecutive flight sessions.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Likely Cause

Corrective Action

Drone LEDs flash continuously; no response to controls

Transmitter and aircraft are not paired

Place drone on a flat surface, turn on both units, and cycle the left throttle stick fully up and down.

Drone drifts sideways or spins unevenly during hover

Gyroscope is uncalibrated or optical flow sensor is obscured

Perform gyroscope calibration on a level surface; clean optical flow lens on bottom fuselage; use fine-tuning trim buttons.

Live video feed is black or absent on controller screen

Signal interference or remote video receiver unlinked

Power cycle the remote controller; ensure memory card is properly seated; minimize 2.4GHz/5GHz RF interference.

Drone ascends poorly or lacks lift

Battery voltage is low or propeller blades installed backwards

Recharge battery fully; check that clockwise and counter-clockwise propellers match their designated motor posts.

Obstacle avoidance causes unexpected stops or jerky motion

Infrared sensors triggered by sunlight or reflective surfaces

Turn off obstacle avoidance mode via the remote button when flying in open, clutter-free, or bright direct sunlight areas.

Drastic reduction in flight duration (under 4 minutes)

Battery aging or aggressive high-speed gear usage

Allow battery to rest between charges; use standard speed mode; replace worn battery cartridge.
