Digital Anemometer

Before using the instrument,please read this manual Carefully,and save it well for future using.

Introduction

This is A professional digital anemometer with stable performance, safety and reliability. It is widely used in wind energy, meteorology, industry, agriculture, hydrology and water conservancy, environmental protection, highways,  airports and ports, etc.

Considerations

• Do not touch the fan blade with force.
• Do not store or operate the instrument in areas with high temperature or humidity.
• In use, do not let the strong light directly shine on the fan, in order to avoid measurement errors.
• Avoid violent vibration.
• Remove the battery before storing the instrument for a long time.

Operation

wind speed measurement:

1. Press me button to turn on the power.
2. Hold the anemometer and let the fan plane of the anemometer align vertically with the wind direction of the airflow for measurement.
3. The display will show the wind speed, wind temperature and wind humidity at the same time.

Data hold:
To freeze a displayed reading, press the button(<1 Sec.). The “H” icon will appear and the most recent reading will appear in the display. Press the button(<1 Sec.) to exit the mode and return to normal mode.
Backlight on or off:
Press the button and hold it for more than 2 seconds to enable or disable the backlight function.
MAX/MIN/AVG function:
Press thekey (:51 Sec.) to turn on the maximum function, and then press the  key to cycle through the maximum, minimum and average values. Long the key press (>1 Sec.) returns to normal measurement function.
Temperature unit selection: 

Press the key to select the temperature unit.
Wind speed unit selection:
Press the key to select the desired  wind speed unit (m/s, km/h, mill/h, ft/m, ft/s, knots).

Auto shutdown function.
When the power is turned on, the automatic shutdown function is turned on by default. No operation within 10 minutes will automatically shut down.
If you need to cancel the auto-off function, press and hold the key before turning on the meter, then press the key to turn on the power, and then release the key after the meter is turned on, the auto-off function
will be canceled.
To restore the auto-off function, turn on the power again to restore the auto-off function. When the meter turns on the auto-off function, the display will show the symbol; when the auto-off function is canceled, it will not show.

Maintenance

Battery replacement
When the meter shows the symbol”“, please replace the battery in time.

• Unscrew the battery cover, and then open the battery cover.
• Remove the batteries from the battery compartment.
• Install the new battery correctly according to the positive and negative marks on the bottom of the battery compartment.
• Reinstall the battery cover and fasten the screws to secure it.

Cleaning
caution
To avoid damaging the case, do not use corrosive agents or solvents to clean the instrument.
Wipe the shell regularly with detergent or a damp cloth and detergent.
