Product Overview
The LectroFan micro is a revolutionary sound machine and wireless portable audio device. It combines advanced [Bluetooth] speaker technology with Adaptive Sound Technologies' acclaimed sleep sound science.
It offers 10 distinct sounds to mask noises, promote relaxation, and improve sleep, including four white noise selections, five fan sounds, and ocean waves SoundScape. The distinctive speaker design swivels up or down, allowing for easy positioning and directional sound control.

The device features three main control buttons. The speaker grille is designed to swivel.
Button Actions
All functions are controlled by three buttons. Each button has two types of actions:
- Long Press: Activated by holding the button for at least a couple of seconds (e.g., Power On/Off, Volume Up, Volume Down).
- Short Press: Activated by briefly pressing the button (e.g., Play/Pause, Previous Sound/Song, Next Sound/Song).
Using as a Sound Masking Machine
Sound Masking Mode
- When LectroFan micro is off: A Short Press of the Power/Pause button turns the Sound Masking feature On.
- When LectroFan micro is on: A Short Press of the Power/Pause button turns the Sound Masking feature Off.
Selecting Sound Stories
- Short Press the Volume +/Track Back button ([V+/<<]) to select the Previous SoundStory.
- Short Press the Volume -/Track FWD button ([V-/>>]) to select the Next SoundStory.
- Long Press either the Volume +/Track Back or Volume -/Track FWD buttons to adjust the volume.
Note: To achieve maximum volume on the LectroFan micro, ensure your playback device's volume is also set to maximum.
Using as a Bluetooth Speaker
Bluetooth Pairing
Pairing is required once for each audio source (e.g., smartphone). Follow these steps:
- Turn on the [Bluetooth] feature by performing a Long Press of the Power/Pause button. You will hear confirmation tones, and the blue status light will flash.
- On your audio source device, enable [Bluetooth] search for new devices and select "LectroFan micro". If a PIN is required, enter "0000". Two tones will confirm successful pairing. Refer to your audio source's instructions if needed.
Bluetooth Operation
- Once paired and connected, adjust volume using a Long Press of the Volume +/Track Back ([V+/<<]) or Volume -/Track FWD ([V-/>>]) buttons.
- Pause audio with a Short Press of the Power/Pause button; press again to resume.
- Turn off [Bluetooth] mode with a Long Press of the Power/Pause button.
- When connected to a smartphone, answer or end incoming calls with a Short Press of the Power/Pause button. Audio will pause during calls.
Charging and Battery
Charging
The LectroFan micro features a built-in Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. To charge, connect the included Micro USB cable from the device's Micro USB port to a USB power source (e.g., USB adapter, computer). The LED indicator glows red while charging and turns off when fully charged.
Battery Performance
The Fan and White Noise sounds can operate on lower battery power. However, [Bluetooth] mode requires a higher charge. Ensure the battery is well-charged for optimal [Bluetooth] performance.
Resetting
Resetting the LectroFan micro
For normal use, resetting is not required. To perform a hard reset, press and hold the Power Button for 15 seconds. A tone will confirm the reset, followed by a fan sound.

Warranty Information
One Year Limited Warranty
Adaptive Sound Technologies, Inc. (ASTI) warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. ASTI will, at its option, repair or replace defective products using new or refurbished parts.
Obtaining Service
To obtain warranty service, contact your reseller. Be prepared to describe the product and the issue. A purchase receipt is required for all returns. Service options and response times may vary.
Limits and Exclusions
This warranty applies only to the LectroFan micro and its included power cable. It does not cover damage caused by failure to follow instructions, accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquakes, unauthorized service, modifications, or pre-existing conditions. ASTI is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Implied warranties are limited to the duration of this express warranty.
