MANUAL DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER

The Honeywell DTI series (2-Wire Differential Pressure Transmitters) and DTU series (3- Wire Differential Pressure Transmitters) are designed to measure differential pressure, under pressure and over pressure conditions. These transmitters are used for monitoring of liquid and gaseous, nonflammable, and non-aggressive media.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND LIABILITY

Read instructions before use. This regulating and control unit must be installed in accordance with the applicable regulations. The existing safety regulations, the intended use and the technical data must be strictly observed. According to these regulations, plants must be zero-potential and secured against inadvertently restart. The product cannot be used for U.S. FDA-controlled application areas. For damage caused by improper use no liability is assumed.

Warning WARNING
Electrical equipment may only be installed, added to, changed or maintained by authorized electricians.
Never work on electrical installations, if you are not a professional! No voltage must be applied if you work on electrical installations. The electrical connection must be compliance in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive.

DIMENSION

ATTENTION: Check the differential pressure transmitter for damages. Do not mount the transmitter on uneven surfaces! Do not use if damaged!
MOUNTING: The transmitter can be mounted in various locations and is not sensitive to installation position. There are several mounting brackets available as accessory.
PRESSURE CONNECTION: The pressure connections are 2 x G1/4 inner thread

MEASURING RANGE PRESSURE CELL (A) MAX. LOAD (P1 – P2) (REVERSIBLE) BURSTING OVER PRESSURE (P1 – P2) (IRREVERSIBLE) BURSTING UNDER PRESSURE (P1 – P2) (IRREVERSIBLE)
0 … 2 bar 6 bar 8 bar -1 bar
0 … 6 bar 20 bar 35 bar -1 bar
0 … 10 bar 30 bar 50 bar -1 bar
(A) NOTE: In case of a under pressure load more than -1 bar (P1 – P2), the pressure cell will be destroyed! Designed for pressure rating PN40. Burst system overpressure on both sides 60 bar.

NOTES ON THE PRESSURE CONNECTION
ATTENTION: A correct function is only valid for the condition: P1 > P2. Connect the higher pressure to P1+ and the lower pressure to P2-. Please note the marking P1+ and P2- on the top of the plastic cover and the product label.
