1. Installation

Die Homematic IP Home Control Unit ist die zentrale Einheit des Homematic IP Smart-Home-Systems und kommuniziert über das Homematic IP Funkprotokoll.
Alle Geräte des Homematic IP Systems können komfortabel und individuell per Smartphone oder Tablet über die Homematic IP App eingerichtet und bedient werden. Für Profis ist auch die Konfiguration über eine Weboberfläche (HCUweb) möglich. Der Funktionsumfang in Ihrem System variiert, je nach Art der installierten Komponenten. Bitte legen Sie vor Beginn der Inbetriebnahme Ihren gewünschten Montage- bzw. Aufstellungsort fest. In Abhängigkeit von der bevorzugten Installation (LAN oder WLAN) ergeben sich unterschiedliche Anforderungen, die im nachfolgenden beschrieben sind.
Sie können die Home Control Unit aufstellen oder durch den mitgelieferten Wandhalter montieren.
Bei der LAN-Installation wird die Home Control Unit mit dem Router per Netzwerkkabel verbunden.
Bei der WLAN-Installation wird die Home Control Unit über WLAN mit dem Router verbunden.
6.1 LAN-Installation
Bei bevorzugter LAN-Installation müssen am Installationsort eine Steckdose zur Stromversorgung und die LAN-Verbindung zum Router vorhanden sein.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei bevorzugter LAN-Installation die Home Control Unit mit einem Abstand von >50 cm zum Router aufgestellt bzw. montiert ist.

6.2 WLAN-Installation
Bei bevorzugter WLAN-Installation müssen am Installationsort eine Steckdose zur Stromversorgung und ausreichender WLANEmpfang vorhanden sein.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei bevorzugter WLAN-Installation die Home Control Unit mit einem Abstand von >1 m zum Router aufgestellt bzw. montiert ist.

7 Inaetrieanahme
In diesem Kapitel erfahren Sie Schritt für Schritt, wie Sie Ihr Homematic IP System erfolgreich in Betrieb nehmen. Installieren Sie zunächst die Homematic IP App auf Ihrem Endgerät und nehmen Sie die Home Control Unit in Betrieb, wie im nachfolgenden Abschnitt beschrieben. Nach erfolgreicher Inbetriebnahme der Home Control Unit können Sie weitere Homematic IP Geräte hinzufügen und in Ihr System integrieren.
7.1 Home Control Unit einrichten
Die Homematic IP App ist für iOS und Android verfügbar und steht im jeweiligen App-Store zum kostenlosen Download bereit.
· Laden Sie die Homematic IP App im App Store herunter und installieren Sie sie auf Ihrem Endgerät.

7.2 LAN-Inbetriebnahme
Die Home Control Unit wird zu Beginn ausschließlich im Heimnetzwerk gesucht. Befindet sich das Endgerät, welches registriert werden soll, nicht im gleichen Netzwerk, wie die Home Control Unit, müssen Sie zunächst die Systemtaste betätigen (die TopLED leuchtet lila). Folgen Sie dazu den Anweisungen im Anlernassistenten. Aus Sicherheitsgründen gilt die Freigabe für jeweils 5 Minuten.

7.4 HCUweb Um für die Home Control Unit spezielle Netzwerkeinstellungen vorzunehmen oder Partnerlösungen zu verknüpfen, verwenden Sie den Webservice ,,HCUweb”.
Die HCUweb ist nur über das lokale Netzwerk und nicht über das Internet zu erreichen.
Die HCUweb bietet folgende Einstellungen und Funktionen:
· Netzwerkeinstellungen (DNS / statische IP) für die Verbindung per Netzwerkkabel und WLAN
· Backups · USB-Speicher-Management · Plugin-Management · Update-Konfiguration · Anzeige von Systeminformationen · Konfiguration Online-/Offline-
Modus
Aktivieren Sie den USB-Stick in der HCUweb-Oberfläche, um die Backup-Funktion, die Messdatenerfassung und Plugins nutzen zu können.

Die HCUweb ist keine Programmieroberfläche und ersetzt nicht die Homematic IP App.
Die HCUweb erreichen Sie im lokalen Netzwerk unter: https://hcu1-XXXX.local (XXXX beschreibt die letzten vier Stellen der SGTIN). Die SGTIN finden Sie auf der Unterseite der Home Control Unit (siehe Abbildung). Sie haben außerdem die Möglichkeit die HCUweb über die IP-Adresse der Home Control Unit aufzurufen.
Sie können die IP-Adresse über Ihren Router oder über die Zusatzsoftware ,,NetFinder” heraus finden.
7.5 Erste Schritte: Geräte anlernen und Räume hinzufügen
Sobald Ihre Homematic IP Home Control Unit und die Homematic IP App einsatzbereit sind, lernen Sie weitere Homematic IP Geräte an und ordnen Sie diese über die App Räumen zu.
· Tippen Sie auf das HauptmenüSymbol ,,… Mehr” unten rechts im Homescreen und dort auf ,,Gerät anlernen”.
· Stellen Sie die Spannungsversorgung des anzulernenden Homematic IP Geräts her, um den Anlernmodus zu aktivieren. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung des jeweiligen Gerätes.
· Folgen Sie Schritt für Schritt den Anweisungen in der App.

Fehleraeheaung
· Wählen Sie die gewünschte Lösung für Ihr Gerät aus.
· Vergeben Sie in der App abschließend einen Namen für das Gerät und legen Sie einen neuen Raum an bzw. ordnen Sie das Gerät einem bestehenden Raum zu.
Wählen Sie die Gerätenamen sehr sorgfältig aus, um beim Einsatz mehrerer Geräte gleichen Typs eine eindeutige Zuordnung vornehmen zu können. Sie haben immer die Möglichkeit, die Geräte- und Raumnamen wieder zu ändern.
7.6 Bedienung und Konfiguration Nachdem Sie Ihre Homematic IP Geräte erfolgreich angelernt und Räume hinzugefügt haben, können Sie Ihr Homematic IP System komfortabel steuern und konfigurieren. Nähere Informationen zur Bedienung der App und Konfiguration des Homematic IP Systems entnehmen Sie bitte dem Homematic IP Anwenderhandbuch (zu finden im Downloadbereich der Webseite www.homematic-ip.com).
8 Fehleraeheaung
8.1 Befehl nicht bestätigt Bestätigt mindestens ein Empfänger einen Befehl nicht, kann eine Funkstörung vorliegen (s. ,,11 Allgemeine Hinweise zum Funkbetrieb” auf Seite 16).

Die fehlerhafte Übertragung wird in der App angezeigt und kann folgende Ursachen haben:
· Empfänger nicht erreichbar · Empfänger kann Befehl nicht aus-
führen (Lastausfall, mechanische Blockade etc.) · Empfänger defekt
8.2 Duty Cycle
Der Duty Cycle beschreibt eine gesetzlich geregelte Begrenzung der Sendezeit von Geräten im 868 MHz Bereich. Das Ziel dieser Regelung ist es, die Funktion aller im 868 MHz Bereich arbeitenden Geräte zu gewährleisten. In dem von uns genutzten Frequenzbereich 868 MHz beträgt die maximale Sendezeit eines jeden Gerätes 1 % einer Stunde (also 36 Sekunden in einer Stunde). Die Geräte dürfen bei Erreichen des 1 %-Limits nicht mehr senden, bis diese zeitliche Begrenzung vorüber ist. Gemäß dieser Richtlinie, werden Homematic IP Geräte zu 100 % normenkonform entwickelt und produziert. Im normalen Betrieb wird der Duty Cycle in der Regel nicht erreicht. Dies kann jedoch in Einzelfällen bei der Inbetriebnahme oder Erstinstallation eines Systems durch vermehrte und funkintensive Anlernprozesse der Fall sein. Eine Überschreitung des Duty Cycle Limits kann sich durch temporär fehlende Funktion des Gerätes äußern. Nach kurzer Zeit (max. 1 Stunde) ist die Funktion des Gerätes wiederhergestellt.

Durch das Zurücksetzen der Home Control Unit wird die gesamte Homematic IP Installation zurückgesetzt. Anschließend muss der Werkszustand Ihrer einzelnen Homematic IP Geräte wieder hergestellt werden, um ein erneutes Anlernen zu ermöglichen.
9.1 Zurücksetzen der Home Control Unit
Um die Werkseinstellungen der Home Control Unit wiederherzustellen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
· Trennen Sie die Home Control Unit von der Stromversorgung, indem Sie das Steckernetzteil herausziehen.
· Stecken Sie das Steckernetzteil wieder ein.
· Warten Sie, bis die Top-LED ausgeschaltet ist und die Status-LEDs leuchten.
· Drücken Sie nun die Systemtaste für 5 s, bis die Top-LED schnell und orange blinkt.
· Lassen Sie die Systemtaste wieder los.
· Drücken Sie die Systemtaste erneut für 5 s, bis die Top-LED anfängt schnell und grün zu blinken. Bei rotem Aufleuchten versuchen Sie es erneut.
· Lassen Sie die Systemtaste wieder los, um das Wiederherstellen der Werkseinstellungen abzuschließen.

Das Gerät führt einen Neustart durch und die Home Control Unit wird zurückgesetzt.
Dieser Vorgang muss innerhalb von 5 Minuten nach dem Starten der Home Control Unit erfolgen.
10 Wartung und Reinigung
Das Gerät ist für Sie wartungsfrei. Überlassen Sie eine Wartung oder Reparatur einer Fachkraft.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, sauberen, trockenen und fusselfreien Tuch. Für die Entfernung von stärkeren Verschmutzungen kann das Tuch leicht mit lauwarmem Wasser angefeuchtet werden. Verwenden Sie keine lösemittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel, das Kunststoffgehäuse und die Beschriftung können dadurch angegriffen werden.

With Homematic IP, you can install your smart home solution in just a few steps.
The Homematic IP Home Control Unit is the central element of the Homematic IP smart home system and communicates using the Homematic IP radio protocol.
All devices of the Homematic IP system can be set up and controlled conveniently and individually with a smartphone or tablet using the Homematic IP app. For experts, configuration over a web user interface (HCUweb) is also possible. The range of functions in your system varies, depending on the type of components installed. For further information, please refer to the Homematic IP user guide.

Please choose your desired mounting location or set-up location before starting up the device. Depending on the preferred installation (LAN or WiFi), there are different requirements, which are described below.
You can set up the Home Control Unit free-standing or mount it using the supplied wall mount.
During LAN installation, the Home Control Unit is connected to the router via a network cable.
During WiFi installation, the Home Control Unit is connected to the router via WiFi.
6.1 LAN installation
If LAN installation is preferred, a socket outlet for the power supply and the LAN connection to the router must be available at the installation location.
Make sure that the Home Control Unit is installed or mounted >50 cm away from the router if a LAN installation is preferred.

6.2 WiFi installation
If WiFi installation is preferred, a power socket and sufficient WiFi reception must be available at the installation location.
Make sure that the Home Control Unit is installed or mounted >1 m away from the router if a WiFi installation is preferred.

Follow the steps below to install the wall mount.
· Mark the drill holes at a distance of 30 mm and drill the holes for the dowels supplied.

This chapter describes how to set up your Homematic IP system step by step. First install the Homematic IP app on your end device and set up your Home Control Unit as described in the following section. Once your Home Control Unit has been set up successfully, you can add and integrate new Homematic IP devices to your system.
7.1 Setting up the Home Control Unit
The Homematic IP app is available for iOS and Android and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and the Google Play store.
· Please download the Homematic IP app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store and install it on your end device.

7.2 LAN start-up
The Home Control Unit is initially only searched for in the home network. If the end device to be registered is not in the same network as the Home Control Unit, you must first press the system button (the top LED lights up purple). Follow the instructions in the pairing wizard. For safety reasons, the authorisation is valid for 5 minutes at a time.

7.4 HCUweb You can use the “HCUweb” web service to make special network settings for the Home Control Unit or to link partner solutions.
HCUweb can only be accessed via the local network and not via the Internet.
The HCUweb features the following settings and functions:
· Network settings (DNS / static IP) for connection via network cable and WLAN
· Backups · USB memory management · Plug-in management · Update configuration · Display of system information · Configuration online/offline mode
Activate the USB stick in the HCUweb interface to be able to use the backup function, measurement data acquisition and plugins.
The HCUweb is not a programming interface and does not replace the Homematic IP app.
You can access HCUweb in the local network at: https://hcu1-XXXX.local (XXXX describes the last four digits of the SGTIN). The SGTIN can be found on the underside of the Home Control Unit (see figure).

You can also access the HCUweb via the IP address of the Home Control Unit.
You can use your router or the “NetFinder” add-on software to find out the IP address.
7.5 First steps: Pairing devices and adding rooms
As soon as your Homematic IP Home Control Unit and the Homematic IP app are ready for use, you can add additional Homematic IP devices and allocate them in the app to different rooms.
· Tap on the main menu symbol “… More” at the bottom right of the home screen, and then on “Pair device”.
· Establish the power supply of the Homematic IP device you want to add to activate the pairing mode. For further information, please refer to the operating manual of the corresponding device.
· Follow the instructions of the app step by step.
· Select the desired solution for your device.
· In the app, give the device a name and create a new room or allocate the device to an existing room.
Please define the device names very carefully to avoid assignment errors when using various devices of the same type. You can change the device and room names at any time.

7.6 Operation and configuration Once you have successfully paired your Homematic IP device and added rooms, you can conveniently control and configure your Homematic IP system. You will find more detailed information on operating the app and configuring the Homematic IP system in the Homematic IP User Guide (available in the Downloads area of our website www.homematic-ip.com).

8.1 Command not confirmed If at least one receiver does not confirm a command, this may be caused by radio interference (see ,,11 General information about radio operation” on page 31). The error will be displayed in the app and may be cause by the following:
· Receiver cannot be reached · Receiver is unable to execute the
command (load failure, mechanical blockade, etc.) · Receiver is defective

8.2 Duty cycle The duty cycle is a legally regulated limit of the transmission time of devices in the 868 MHz range. The aim of this regulation is to safeguard the operation of all devices working in the 868 MHz range. In the 868 MHz frequency range we use, the maximum transmission time of any device is 1% of an hour (i.e. 36 seconds in an hour). Devices must cease transmission when they reach the 1% limit until this time restriction ends. Homematic IP devices are designed and produced with 100% conformity to this regulation. During normal operation, the duty cycle is not usually reached. However, repeated and radio-intensive pairing processes mean that it may be reached in isolated instances during start-up or initial installation of a system. If the duty cycle limit is exceeded, the device may stop working for a brief period. The device starts working correctly again after a short period (max. 1 hour).

9 RestHring factHrly settings
Resetting the Home Control Unit resets the entire Homematic IP installation. Afterwards, the factory state of your individual Homematic IP devices must be restored to enable them to be paired again.
9.1 Resetting the Home Control Unit To restore the factory settings of the Home Control Unit, proceed as follows:
· Disconnect the Home Control Unit from the power supply by unplugging the mains adapter.
· Plug the mains adapter back in. · Wait until the top LED is switched
off and the status LEDs light up. · Now press the system button for
5 seconds until the top LED flashes orange quickly. · Release the system button. · Press the system button again for 5 seconds until the top LED starts flashing green quickly. If the LED lights up red, please try again. · Release the system button to conclude the procedure. The device will perform a restart and the Home Control Unit is reset.
This process must be carried out within 5 minutes of starting the Home Control Unit.

10 Maintenance and cleaning

The device does not require you to carry out any maintenance. Leave any maintenance or repair to a specialist.
Clean the device using a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth. Dampen the cloth a little with lukewarm water to remove more stubborn marks. Do not use any detergents containing solvents, as they could corrode the plastic housing and label.

11 General infHrmatiHn aaHut radiH HmeratiHn
Radio transmission is performed on a non-exclusive transmission path, which means that there is a possibility of interference occurring. Interference can also be caused by switching operations, electrical motors or defective electrical devices.

The transmission range within buildings can differ significantly from that available in open space. Besides the transmitting power and the reception characteristics of the receiver, environmental factors such as humidity in the vicinity play an important role, as do on-site structural/screening conditions.

La Homematic IP Home Control Unit est l’unité centrale du système domotique Homematic IP et communique par le biais du protocole radio Homematic IP. Avant de commencer la mise en service, veuillez déterminer le lieu de montage ou d’implantation souhaité. En fonction de l’installation préférée (LAN ou WLAN), les exigences sont différentes et sont décrites ci-dessous.
Vous pouvez poser la Home Control Unit ou la monter à l’aide du support mural fourni.
Lors de l’installation LAN, la Home Control Unit est reliée au routeur par un câble réseau.
Lors de l’installation WLAN, l’unité Home Control est reliée au routeur via le WLAN.
6.1 Installation LAN
Si une installation LAN est privilégiée, une prise de courant doit être disponible sur le lieu d’installation pour l’alimentation électrique et la connexion LAN au routeur.
Assurez-vous que la Home Control Unit est implantée ou montée à une distance >50 cm du routeur.

6.2 Installation WLAN
Si une installation WLAN est privilégiée, une prise de courant doit être disponible sur le lieu d’installation pour l’alimentation électrique et une bonne réception WLAN doit être assurée.
Assurez-vous que la Home Control Unit est implantée ou montée à une distance >1 m du routeur.

Pour monter le support mural, observez les étapes suivantes.

7 Mise en service
Ce chapitre vous décrit étape par étape comment réussir à mettre le système Homematic IP en service. Installez tout d’abord l’application Homematic IP sur votre terminal et mettez la Home Control Unit en service comme décrit dans la section ci-après. Après la mise en service de la Home Control Unit, vous pouvez ajoutez d’autres appareils Homematic IP et les intégrer à votre système.
7.1 Configurer la Home Control Unit
L’application Homematic IP est disponible pour iOS et Android et peut être téléchargée gratuitement dans la boutique d’applications correspondante.
· Téléchargez l’application Homematic IP dans la boutique d’applications et installez-la sur votre terminal.

7.2 Mise en service LAN
Au début, la Home Control Unit est recherchée exclusivement dans le réseau domestique. Si le terminal à enregistrer ne se trouve pas dans le même réseau que la Home Control Unit, vous devez d’abord appuyer sur la touche système (la LED supérieure est allumée en violet). Pour cela, suivez les instructions contenues dans l’assistant d’apprentissage. Pour des raisons de sécurité, l’autorisation est valable 5 minutes à chaque fois.

7.4 HCUweb Pour effectuer des réglages réseau spéciaux pour la Home Control Unit ou pour relier des solutions partenaires, utilisez le service web « HCUweb ».
Le HCUweb est accessible uniquement via le réseau local et non via Internet.
L’interface HCUweb offre les réglages et les fonctions suivantes :
· Paramètres réseau (DNS/IP statique) pour la connexion par câble réseau et WiFi
· Sauvegardes · Gestion de la mémoire USB · Gestion des plugins · Configuration de la mise à jour · Affichage des informations système · Configuration du mode en ligne/

Activez la clé USB dans l’interface HCUweb afin de pouvoir utiliser la fonction de sauvegarde, l’enregistrement des données mesurées et les plug-ins.

Le HCUweb n’est pas une interface de programmation et ne remplace pas l’application Homematic IP.
Vous pouvez accéder à la HCUweb sur le réseau local à l’adresse : https://hcu1-XXXX.local (XXXX décrit les quatre derniers chiffres du SGTIN). Vous trouverez le SGTIN sur la face inférieure de la Home Control Unit (voir Figure). Vous avez également la possibilité d’appeler la HCUweb via l’adresse IP de la Home Control Unit.
Vous pouvez trouver l’adresse IP via votre routeur ou via le logiciel additionnel « NetFinder ».
7.5 Premiers pas : Procéder à l’apprentissage de l’appareil et ajouter des pièces
Dès que votre Home Control Unit Homematic IP et l’application Homematic IP sont opérationnelles, procédez à l’apprentissage d’autres appareils Homematic IP et affectez-les à des pièces au moyen de l’application.
· Effleurez l’icône du menu principal « … Plus » en bas à droite de l’écran d’accueil, puis l’option « Apprentissage de l’appareil ».
· Branchez l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil Homematic IP à programmer par apprentissage pour activer le mode apprentissage. Vous trouverez de plus amples informations à ce sujet dans le mode d’emploi de l’appareil correspondant.

· Suivez chaque étape des instructions de l’application.
· Choisissez la solution souhaitée pour votre appareil.
· Pour finir, attribuez un nom à l’appareil dans l’application et définissez une nouvelle pièce ou affectez l’appareil à une pièce déjà existante.
Faites attention lors du choix du nom de l’appareil afin de garantir une attribution sans équivoque lors de l’utilisation de plusieurs appareils de même type. Vous avez toujours la possibilité de modifier à nouveau les noms des appareils et des pièces.
7.6 Utilisation et configuration Une fois l’apprentissage des appareils Homematic IP réussi et les pièces ajoutées, vous pouvez commander et configurer votre système Homematic IP en tout confort. Pour de plus amples informations sur l’utilisation de l’application et la configuration du système Homematic IP, merci de consulter le manuel d’utilisateur Homematic IP (que vous trouverez dans la partie Téléchargement du site Web www.homematic-ip.com).
8 Démannage
8.1 Commande non confirmée Si au moins un récepteur ne confirme pas une commande, il est alors possible que la radio soit perturbée v. ,, 11 Remarques générales sur le fonctionnement radio ,, à la page 48.

Une transmission défectueuse est affichée dans l’application et peut avoir les causes suivantes :
· le récepteur n’est pas accessible · le récepteur ne peut pas effectu-
er la commande (défaillance de la charge, blocage mécanique, etc.) · le récepteur est défectueux
8.2 Duty Cycle
Le Duty Cycle décrit une limite légale réglée de la durée d’émission des appareils dans la bande de fréquence des 868 MHz. L’objectif de cette réglementation est de garantir le fonctionnement de tous les appareils dans la bande de fréquence de 868 MHz. Dans la plage de fréquences que nous utilisons (868 MHz), le temps d’émission maximum de chaque appareil s’élève à 1 % d’une heure (et donc de 36 secondes en une heure). Les appareils ne peuvent plus émettre lorsque la limite de 1 % est atteinte jusqu’à ce que cette limite temporelle soit dépassée. Conformément à cette directive, les appareils Homematic IP sont développés et produits à 100 % en conformité avec les normes. En fonctionnement normal, le Duty Cycle n’est, en règle générale, pas atteint. Toutefois, cela peut être le cas lors de la mise en service ou de la première installation d’un système, en raison de processus d’apprentissage plus nombreux et plus intensifs en radio. Un dépassement de la limite du Duty Cycle peut se révéler par un dysfonctionnement temporaire de l’appareil. Après quelques instants (1 heure max.), la fonction de l’appareil est restaurée.

9 RestauratiHn des réglages d’usine
La réinitialisation de la Home Control Unit réinitialise l’ensemble de l’installation Homematic IP. Il faut ensuite restaurer l’état par défaut de chacun de vos appareils Homematic IP pour permettre un nouvel apprentissage.
9.1 Réinitialiser la Home Control Unit
Pour restaurer les réglages d’usine de la Home Control Unit, procédez comme suit :
· Débranchez la Home Control Unit de l’alimentation électrique en désenfichant le bloc d’alimentation.
· Renfichez le bloc d’alimentation. · Attendez que la LED supérieure soit
éteinte et que les LED d’état soient allumées. · Appuyez maintenant sur la touche système pendant 5 s jusqu’à ce que la LED supérieure clignote rapidement et en orange. · Relâchez la touche système. · Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche système pendant 5 s jusqu’à ce que la LED commence à clignoter rapidement en vert. Si elle s’allume en rouge, recommencez le processus. · Relâchez la touche système pour terminer la restauration des réglages d’usine. L’appareil redémarre et la Home Control Unit est réinitialisée.

Cette opération doit être effectuée dans les 5 minutes suivant le démarrage de la Home Control Unit.
10 Entretien et nettHlyage
L’appareil n’exige aucune maintenance de votre part. La maintenance et les réparations doivent être effectuées par un spécialiste.
Nettoyez l’appareil avec un chiffon doux, propre, sec et non pelucheux. Pour enlever des salissures plus conséquentes, le chiffon peut être légèrement humidifié avec de l’eau tiède. N’utilisez pas de nettoyant contenant un solvant, le boîtier en plastique et les écritures peuvent être attaqués.

La transmission radio est réalisée sur une voie de transmission non exclusive, c’est pourquoi des dysfonctionnements ne peuvent pas être exclus. D’autres perturbations peuvent être provoquées par des opérations de commutation, des électromoteurs ou des appareils électriques défectueux.
La portée dans des bâtiments peut diverger fortement de celle dans un champ libre. Outre la puissance d’émission et les caractéristiques de réception des récepteurs, les influences environnementales telles que l’hygrométrie et les données structurelles du site jouent, elles aussi, un rôle important.

Con Homematic IP accederá al control inteligente del Smart Home en pocos pasos. Homematic IP Home Control Unit es la unidad central del sistema de hogar inteligente Homematic IP, que se comunica a través del protocolo inalámbrico de Homematic IP. Todos los dispositivos del sistema Homematic IP se pueden configurar y manejar de manera cómoda e individual con el smartphone o tablet a través de la app Homematic IP. Los profesionales pueden acceder a la configuración a través de una interfaz web (HCUweb). La gama de funciones de su sistema varía según el tipo de componentes instalados. Especifique el lugar de instalación o configuración deseado antes de iniciar la puesta en servicio. Dependiendo de la instalación preferida (LAN o WLAN), existen diferentes requisitos que se describen a continuación.
Puede instalar la Home Control Unit o montarla con el soporte de pared suministrado.
Durante la instalación LAN, la Home Control Unit se conecta al router mediante un cable de red.
Durante la instalación WLAN, la Home Control Unit se conecta al router a través de WLAN.
6.1 Instalación LAN
Si se prefiere la instalación LAN, en el lugar de instalación debe haber una toma de corriente para la alimentación y la conexión LAN al router.
Si se prefiere la instalación LAN, asegúrese de que la Home Control Unit se instala o monta a más de 50 cm del router.

En este capítulo le mostramos paso a paso cómo poner en servicio correctamente el sistema Homematic IP. Instale primero la app Homematic IP en su dispositivo y ponga en funcionamiento la Home Control Unit tal y como se describe en el siguiente apartado. Tras la correcta puesta en servicio de la Home Control Unit, puede añadir más dispositivos Homematic IP e integrarlos en su sistema.
7.1 Configurar la Home Control Unit
La app Homematic IP está disponible para iOS y Android y se puede descargar gratuitamente desde la App Store correspondiente.
· Descargue la app Homematic IP desde la App Store e instálela en su dispositivo.

7.2 Puesta en marcha con LAN
En un primer momento, la Home Control Unit se busca solo en la red doméstica. Si el dispositivo que desea registrar no se encuentra en la misma red que la Home Control Unit deberá pulsar primero el botón del sistema (el LED superior se ilumina en morado). Siga las instrucciones del asistente de aprendizaje. Por razones de seguridad, el desbloqueo solo es válido durante 5 minutos.

7.4 HCUweb Para realizar ajustes de red especiales para la Home Control Unit o para vincular soluciones de otros socios, utilice el servicio web «HCUweb».
Solo se puede acceder a HCUweb a través de la red local y no a través de internet.
HCUweb ofrece los siguientes ajustes y funciones:
· Ajustes de red (DNS/IP estática) para la conexión por cable de red y WLAN
· Copias de seguridad · Gestión de memorias USB · Gestión de plugins · Configuración de actualización · Mostrar información del sistema · Configuración del modo
online/offline
Active el lápiz USB en la interfaz HCUweb para poder utilizar la función de copia de seguridad, el registro de datos de medición y los plug-ins.
HCUweb no es una interfaz de programación y no sustituye a la aplicación Homematic IP.
Puede encontrar HCUweb en la red local en: https://hcu1-XXXX.local (XXXX describe los 4 últimos dígitos del SGTIN). Encontrará el SGTIN en la parte inferior de la Home Control Unit (ver figura). También tiene la posibilidad de acceder a HCUweb a través de la dirección IP de la Home Control Unit.

Puede averiguar la dirección IP a través de su router o mediante el software adicional “NetFinder”.
7.5 Primeros pasos: Conexión de dispositivos y adición de salas
En cuanto su Home Control Unit de Homematic IP y la app Homematic IP estén listos para funcionar, programe el resto de dispositivos Homematic IP y asígnelos a salas a través de la app.
· Pulse el icono del menú principal “… Más” en la parte inferior derecha de la pantalla de inicio y, a continuación, haz clic en “Programar dispositivo”.
· Establezca la alimentación de tensión del dispositivo Homematic IP que va a conectar para activar el modo de programación. Encontrará más información al respecto en las instrucciones de uso del dispositivo correspondiente.
· Siga las instrucciones de la app paso a paso.
· Seleccione la solución deseada para su dispositivo.
· Por último, asigne un nombre al dispositivo en la app y cree una nueva sala o asigne el dispositivo a una sala existente.
Elija los nombres de los dispositivos con cuidado, para poder asignarlos sin equivocaciones cuando use varios dispositivos del mismo tipo. Puede cambiar más adelante los nombres de los dispositivos y las salas en cualquier momento.

7.6 Manejo y configuración Un vez que haya conectado correctamente sus dispositivos Homematic IP y haya añadido salas, podrá controlar y configurar cómodamente su sistema Homematic IP. Encontrará más información sobre el manejo de la app y la configuración del sistema Homematic IP en el manual de usuario de Homematic IP (que encontrará en el área de descargas de la página web www.homematic-ip.com).
8 Remaracicn de fallHs
8.1 Comando sin confirmar Si alguno de los receptores no confirma un comando, puede haber un fallo de transmisión (v. ,,11 Indicaciones generales sobre el modo inalámbrico” en página 64). Las transmisiones defectuosas se muestran en la app y pueden tener las siguientes causas:
· Receptor no disponible · El receptor no puede ejecutar el
comando (fallo de tensión, bloqueo mecánico, etc.) · Receptor defectuoso
8.2 Duty Cycle Duty Cycle describe una limitación del tiempo de transmisión regulada por ley para dispositivos en la banda de 868 MHz. El objeto de esta regulación es garantizar el funcionamiento de todos los aparatos que trabajan en la banda de 868 MHz. En la banda de frecuencia de 868 MHz que utilizamos nosotros, el tiempo de transmisión máximo de un dispositivo

es del 1% de una hora (es decir, 36 segundos en una hora). Cuando se alcanza ese límite del 1%, los dispositivos no pueden seguir transmitiendo hasta que finaliza esa limitación temporal. Los dispositivos Homematic IP cumplen esa directiva al 100 % en su desarrollo y fabricación. Utilizados de un modo normal, en general no se alcanza el Duty Cycle. Sí puede ocurrir en casos aislados, por ejemplo durante la puesta en servicio o la primera instalación de un sistema, debido a los múltiples procesos de conexión con mayor intensidad de transmisión. La superación del límite de Duty Cycle puede provocar un mal funcionamiento temporal del dispositivo. El funcionamiento se restablece al poco tiempo (máximo 1 hora).

9 RestaalecimientH de la cHnfiguracicn de fáarica
Al reiniciar la Home Control Unit se reinicia toda la instalación Homematic IP. También es necesario restablecer el estado de fábrica de los dispositivos Homematic IP individuales para poder conectarlos de nuevo.
9.1 Restablecer la Home Control Unit
Para restablecer la configuración de fábrica de la Home Control Unit proceda del siguiente modo:
· Desconecte la Home Control Unit de la alimentación eléctrica extrayendo la fuente de alimentación enchufable.
· Vuelva a enchufar la fuente de alimentación.
· Espere hasta que se apague el LED superior y se enciendan los LED de estado.
· Después pulse el botón del sistema durante 5 segundos hasta que el LED superior parpadee rápidamente en naranja.
· Suelte de nuevo el botón del sistema.
· Pulse de nuevo el botón del sistema durante 5 s hasta que se encienda el LED superior comience a parpadear rápidamente de color verde. Si se ilumina en rojo, inténtelo otra vez.
· Suelte de nuevo el botón del sistema para finalizar el restablecimiento de la configuración de fábrica.

El dispositivo ejecuta un reinicio y el Home Control Unit se restablece.
Este proceso debe realizarse en los 5 minutos siguientes a arrancar la Home Control Unit.
10 MantenimientH ly limmieza
Este dispositivo no requiere mantenimiento por su parte. En caso de fallo, encargue su reparación a un técnico.
Limpie el dispositivo con un paño suave, limpio, seco y que no deje pelusa. Si está muy sucio, puede limpiarlo con un paño ligeramente humedecido con agua tibia. No utilice productos de limpieza que contengan disolventes. Estas sustancias pueden estropear la carcasa de plástico y la rotulación.

Con Homematic IP sono sufficienti pochi passaggi per installare il sistema intelligente di controllo Smart-Home. Homematic IP Home Control Unit è la centralina del sistema Homematic IP Smart-Home e comunica tramite il protocollo radio Homematic IP. Tutti gli apparecchi del sistema Homematic IP possono essere configurati e utilizzati comodamente e singolarmente da smartphone o tablet tramite l’app Homematic IP. Per esper-

ti, è anche possibile la configurazione tramite un’interfaccia web (HCUweb). La gamma di funzioni del sistema varia in base al tipo di componenti installati. Prima di iniziare la messa in funzione, specificare il luogo di installazione o di allestimento desiderato. A seconda dell’installazione preferita (LAN o WLAN), esistono requisiti diversi, descritti di seguito.
È possibile configurare la Home Control Unit o montarla utilizzando il supporto a parete in dotazione. Durante l’installazione LAN, la Home Control Unit si collega al router tramite cavo di rete. Durante l’installazione WLAN, la Home Control Unit è collegata al router tramite WLAN.
6.1 Installazione LAN
Se si preferisce l’installazione LAN, nel luogo di installazione deve essere disponibile una presa per l’alimentazione di corrente e la connessione LAN al router. Se si preferisce un’installazione LAN, assicurarsi che la Home Control Unit sia installata o montata a una distanza di >50 cm dal router.

6.2 Installazione WLAN
Se si preferisce l’installazione WLAN, nel luogo di installazione devono essere disponibili una presa per l’alimentazione di corrente e una ricezione WLAN sufficiente.
Se si preferisce un’installazione WLAN, assicurarsi che la Home Control Unit sia installata o montata a una distanza di >1 m dal router.

Per montare il supporto a parete, procedere come segue.
· Segnare i fori a una distanza di 30 mm e praticare i fori per i tasselli in dotazione.

In questo capitolo viene spiegato passo dopo passo come mettere in funzione il sistema Homematic IP. Innanzitutto è necessario installare l’app Homematic IP sul proprio terminale e attivare la Home Control Unit come descritto nel paragrafo seguente. Una volta attivata la Home Control Unit è possibile aggiungere ulteriori apparecchi Homematic IP e integrarli nel proprio sistema.
7.1 Installazione della Home Control Unit
L’app Homematic IP è disponibile per iOS e Android e può essere scaricata gratuitamente dal relativo App Store.
· Scaricare l’app Homematic IP dall’App Store e installarla sul proprio terminale.

La Home Control Unit viene inizialmente cercata solo nella rete domestica. Se il terminale da registrare non si trova nella stessa rete della Home Control Unit, è necessario premere prima il pulsante di sistema (il LED superiore diventa viola). Seguire le istruzioni dell’assistente di inizializzazione. Per motivi di sicurezza, l’autorizzazione è valida per 5 minuti alla volta.

7.4 HCUweb Per effettuare impostazioni di rete speciali per l’unità di controllo domestico o per collegare soluzioni partner, utilizzare il servizio web “HCUweb”.
HCUweb è accessibile solo tramite la rete locale e non tramite Internet.
L’HCUweb offre le seguenti impostazioni e funzioni:

Attivare la chiavetta USB nell’interfaccia HCUweb per poter utilizzare la funzione di backup, l’acquisizione dei dati di misurazione e i plug-in.
HCUweb non è un’interfaccia di programmazione e non sostituisce l’app Homematic IP.
Potete raggiungere HCUweb nella rete locale all’indirizzo: https://hcu1-XXXX.local (XXXX descrive

le ultime quattro cifre del SGTIN). L’SGTIN si trova sul lato inferiore della Home Control Unit (vedere la figura). È inoltre possibile richiamare HCUweb tramite l’indirizzo IP della Home Control Unit.
È possibile conoscere l’indirizzo IP tramite il router o il software aggiuntivo “NetFinder”.
7.5 Primi passi: Inizializzazione di apparecchi e aggiunta di ambienti
Appena la Homematic IP Home Control Unit e l’app Homematic IP sono pronte all’uso, inizializzare ulteriori dispositivi Homematic IP e assegnarli agli ambienti tramite l’app.
· Cliccare sull’icona del menu principale “… Altro” in basso a destra sulla schermata iniziale e qui su “Inizializzazione dell’apparecchio”.
· Collegare l’apparecchio Homematic IP da inizializzare all’alimentazione elettrica per attivare la modalità Inizializzazione. Ulteriori informazioni sono fornite nelle istruzioni per l’uso dell’apparecchio.
· Seguire passo dopo passo le istruzione nell’app.
· Selezionare la soluzione desiderata per il proprio dispositivo.
· Nell’app assegnare infine un nome all’apparecchio e creare un nuovo ambiente oppure assegnare l’apparecchio a un ambiente già esistente.

Scegliere il nome dell’apparecchio con molta attenzione, in modo da potere eseguire un’associazione univoca nel caso in cui siano in uso diversi apparecchi dello stesso tipo. È sempre possibile modificare nuovamente il nome dell’apparecchio e dell’ambiente.
7.6 Uso e configurazione Una volta effettuata con successo l’inizializzazione degli apparecchi Homematic IP e aver aggiunto altri ambienti, è possibile comandare e configurare facilmente il proprio sistema Homematic IP. Maggiori informazioni sull’uso e sulla configurazione dell’app del sistema Homematic IP sono riportare nel manuale dell’utente Homematic IP (contenuto nell’area download del sito Web www.homematic-ip.com).

8.1 Comando non confermato Se un comando non viene confermato da almeno un ricevitore, è possibile che sia presente un disturbo radio (v. ,,11 Informazioni generali sul funzionamento via radio” a pag. 80). La trasmissione disturbata viene visualizzata nell’app e può essere dovuta a una delle seguenti cause:
· ricevitore non raggiungibile · ricevitore non può eseguire ordi-
ne (interruzione di carico, blocco meccanico, ecc.) · Ricevitore difettoso

8.2 Duty Cycle
Il Duty Cycle descrive una limitazione del tempo di trasmissione, regolata per legge, di apparecchi nella gamma 868 MHz. Scopo di questa regolazione è quello di garantire il funzionamento di tutti gli apparecchi nel campo 868 MHz.
Nel campo di frequenza 868 MHz da noi utilizzato il tempo massimo di trasmissione di ogni apparecchio ammonta all’1 % di un’ora (quindi 36 secondi in un’ora). Quando raggiungono il limite dell’1% gli apparecchi non possono più trasmettere finché non sarà scaduto questo limite di tempo. Conformemente a questa direttiva, gli apparecchi Homematic IP sono sviluppati e prodotti nell’assoluto rispetto delle norme.
Nel normale funzionamento di solito non si raggiunge il duty cycle. Tuttavia, questo potrebbe accadere in casi singoli alla messa in esercizio o alla prima installazione di un sistema a causa di processi di inizializzazione ripetuti o ad alta intensità radio. Un superamento del limite ciclo di lavoro può manifestarsi attraverso un temporaneo mancato funzionamento dell’apparecchio. Trascorso un breve tempo (max. 1 ora), il funzionamento dell’apparecchio viene ripristinato.

Il reset della Home Control Unit resetta l’intera installazione di Homematic IP. In seguito, per consentire una nuova inizializzazione dei singoli dispositivi Homematic IP è necessario ripristinare anche il loro stato di fabbrica.
9.1 Reset della Home Control Unit Per ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica della Home Control Unit, procedere nel modo seguente:
· Staccare la Home Control Unit dall’alimentazione di corrente, tirando dalla presa l’alimentatore a spina.
· Ricollegare l’alimentatore. · Attendere che il LED superiore si
spenga e che i LED di stato si accendano. · A questo punto, premere il pulsante di sistema per 5 secondi finché il LED superiore lampeggia rapidamente con luce arancione. · Rilasciare quindi il tasto. · Premere di nuovo il tasto di sistema per 5 secondi finché il LED superiore inizia a lampeggiare rapidamente di verde. Se si accende una luce rossa provare a ripetere questa procedura. · Rilasciare di nuovo il tasto di sistema per concludere il ripristino delle impostazioni di fabbrica. Il dispositivo esegue un riavvio e la Home Control Unit viene resettata.

Questa procedura deve essere eseguita entro 5 minuti dall’avvio della Home Control Unit.
10 ManutenziHne e mulizia
L’apparecchio non necessita di manutenzione. Se è necessario un intervento di manutenzione o riparazione rivolgersi a un tecnico specializzato.
Pulire l’apparecchio con un panno morbido, pulito, asciutto e privo di pelucchi. Per rimuovere tracce di sporco tenaci si può inumidire leggermente il panno con acqua tiepida. Non utilizzare detergenti a base di solventi poiché potrebbero danneggiare la scatola esterna di plastica e le iscrizioni sull’apparecchio.

La trasmissione radio viene attuata su un canale di trasmissione non esclusivo, pertanto non è possibile escludere interferenze. Altre interferenze possono essere causate da processi di commutazione, da motori elettrici o da apparecchi elettrici difettosi.
La portata del segnale all’interno degli edifici può essere molto diversa da quella all’aperto. Oltre alla potenza di trasmissione e alle proprietà di ricezione dei ricevitori, anche alcuni fattori ambientali come l’umidità dell’aria, nonché le condizioni della struttura sul posto sono importanti per il segnale.
