- 2: Speed setting 1
- 3: Speed setting 2
- 4: Speed setting 3
- 5: Light button
A visual representation shows a rectangular panel with four buttons labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4. Button 1 is a circle with a line through it (power/standby). Button 2 is labeled '2'. Button 3 is labeled '3'. Button 4 is a light bulb symbol.
Control | Function |
---|---|
1 | First speed: Activates the fan at the lowest speed setting. |
2 | Second speed: Switches the fan to the second speed setting. |
3 | Third speed: Switches the fan to the third speed setting. |

Daily Use
3.1 Using the Extractor Hood
Check the recommended speed setting according to the following table:
Speed Setting | Recommended Use |
---|---|
0|1 (Standby/Low Speed) | During food heating, when cooking with covered pots. |
2 (Medium Speed) | When cooking with covered pots, using multiple cooking zones or burners, gentle frying. |
3 (High Speed) | Boiling and frying large quantities of food without a lid, using multiple cooking zones or burners. |
ℹ️ It is recommended to leave the extractor hood on for 15 minutes after finishing cooking.
To use the hood:
- Pull out the hood's telescopic section more than 5 cm. This reveals the control panel.
- To activate the fan, press the power button (typically labeled '0|1' or similar).
- If necessary, change the fan speed by pressing the desired speed button (2 or 3).
The hood lighting operates independently of other hood functions. To illuminate the cooking surface, press the lighting button. Closing the hood's telescopic section does not affect the hood lighting.
ℹ️ The extractor hood remembers the last fan speed setting before the telescopic section was closed. The hood will resume operation at this fan speed when the telescopic section is extended again.
To turn off the fan, press the power button (0|1) or close the hood's telescopic section.
Care and Cleaning
4.1 Notes on Cleaning
Do not use abrasive detergents or brushes.
Clean the appliance surface with a soft cloth dampened in warm water with a mild detergent.
After cooking, some parts of the appliance may be hot. To avoid stains, wipe the cooled appliance with a clean cloth or paper towel. Use a mild detergent for stain removal.
Clean the appliance and grease filters every month. Thoroughly clean grease deposits inside and on the grease filters. Accumulation of grease or food residue can cause a fire.
Grease Filters:
Grease filters can be washed in a dishwasher. Set the dishwasher to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may lose its color, but this will not affect the appliance's performance.
Charcoal Filter:
The saturation rate of the charcoal filter depends on the type of cooking and the frequency of grease filter cleaning. The activated charcoal filter is not washable and cannot be regenerated. It must be replaced approximately every 4/6 months of use, or more frequently with intensive use.
4.2 Cleaning the Grease Filter
The filters are installed with clips and tabs on the other side.
Filter Cleaning Steps:
- Press the clip handle on the filter panel under the extractor hood (1).
- Slightly tilt the front of the filter downwards (2), then pull it out.
Repeat the first two steps for all filters.
Clean the filters using a sponge and a mild detergent, or wash them in a dishwasher. When using a dishwasher, set a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may lose its color, but this will not affect the appliance's performance.
To reinsert the filters, perform the first two steps in reverse order. Repeat these steps for all filters as applicable.
It is recommended to replace the filters every four months in any case.
4.3 Replacing the Charcoal Filter
⚠️ WARNING! The charcoal filter is NOT washable! The filter cannot be regenerated!
Charcoal Filter Replacement Steps:
- Remove the grease filters from the appliance. Refer to the "Cleaning the Grease Filter" section.
- Turn the filter counter-clockwise (1) and then pull it out (2).
To re-install the filters, follow the described steps in reverse order. Filters should ideally be replaced every four months.
4.4 Replacing the Bulb
This appliance is equipped with LED lighting and a separate control unit (LED regulator). These parts must only be replaced by a qualified technician. In case of malfunction, refer to the "Maintenance" section of the "Safety Instructions".
