Getting Started
This guide provides instructions for setting up your Imou camera.

Power On the Camera
Connect the camera to a power source. You can choose between a wireless or wired network connection (refer to part 1 in the diagrams).

Get the Imou Life App
Scan the QR code provided (part 2) or search for "Imou Life" in your app store to download and install the application. Create an account and log in.

Set Up the Camera
Use the Imou Life app to scan the QR code located on the camera's body or on the cover of this guide. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process (refer to part 3).

Install the Camera
Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support three times the weight of the camera. For detailed installation steps, please refer to part 4.
LED Status Indicators
| LED Status | Device Status |
|---|---|
| Green Flashing | Ready to set up the device |
| Green Solid | Working properly |
| Red Flashing | Network disconnected |
| Red Solid | Failed to set up the device |
| Green & Red Alternating | Updating firmware |
| Off | Device malfunction or power off |
Note: To reset the camera, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. The LED will turn solid red when the camera is booting.
