Safety and Installation Precautions

Please observe the following safety and installation guidelines:

Do not use in damp locations.
Do not disassemble the product.
Ensure proper earthing.
Maximum ambient temperature: 40°C.
Minimum distance from illuminated surface: 8mm.
Minimum distance from ceiling: 5cm.
Do not look directly into the LED light source.
Product is not suitable for use with a dimmer.
Product is not suitable for use with electronic dimmers.
Ensure the product is installed by a qualified person.
Warning: Risk of electric shock.

Installation Steps

Ensure the power is OFF before starting installation.
Mount the base of the light fixture.
Connect the wiring to the fixture.
Attach the light fixture to the mounting base.
Connect the power supply wires.
Secure the light fixture cover.

Operation and Features

The Philips Mauve 16W ceiling light features a PIR sensor for automatic operation.

Automatic Operation

The light will turn ON when motion is detected and the ambient light level is below approximately 20 Lux. It will turn OFF automatically after a period of inactivity.

Sensor Adjustment

The sensor can be adjusted to detect motion within a certain range and sensitivity. The light can be set to stay ON for a specific duration after motion is detected (30 ± 3 seconds shown in diagram).

Light Modes

The light may have different modes or settings, indicated by the sequence of switching the power ON and OFF. For example, a sequence of OFF-ON-OFF-ON within a short period might activate a specific mode (e.g., night mode indicated by stars and a silhouette).
