Product Usage Instructions
0908 Sensor Functionality Test:
- Open KMix Assembly Test.
- Plug in the Y cable to the power 0908 Board. Plug the USB end into the computer.
- Place Silicone on the sensor side of the 0908 Board, align. Power on KMix by pressing the power button. The power button will light up blue when the unit is powered on.
- KMix Assembly Test should now say “CONNECTED”
- Enter the Serial Number in the KMix Assembly Test.
- Press the Start button in KMix Assembly Test; this will begin logging sensor functionality results for KMix Unit as text.
- The current sensor being tested should be highlighted in blue in the KMix Assembly Test. Starting with F0, activate the sensor by pressing from the bottom to the top of F0 on the KMix Unit.
- If some areas of the sensor remain unactivated, repeat until all squares to the right of the highlighted fader visual change from black to white. Clicking sound indicates each area being activated, bell ding indicates a proven Good sensor. If the sensor is good, the highlighted sensor in the KMix Assembly Test will turn Green.
- Once the first sensor has been tested and proven Good, KMix Assembly Test will highlight the next sensor, F1. Repeat the previous step with each sensor. Buttons are activated with a single push. Rotaries are activated by pressing a finger along the entire edge of the rotary.
- If a sensor is Bad and cannot be fully activated, press the ‘Skip Sensor’ button at the bottom right in KMix Assembly Test to move onto next sensor.
- Repeat steps 2-10 for each KMix Unit.
