Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

  1. Ensure you have the correct part for your motorcycle by checking the part number and compatibility on our website.
  2. Disconnect the headlight unit from your bike and remove it.
  3. Plug the HLE module into the 8-pin headlight connector on the main wiring harness.
  4. Peel off the green plastic from the back of the unit, mount it, and secure the wiring with the supplied cable tie.
  5. Turn the ignition on to ensure the FI light and/or warning message for the missing headlight unit is off.
  6. You have successfully installed the product. Enjoy your track/race-converted bike!

Warranty:
The unit is sealed and epoxy-encapsulated for extreme protection from shocks, vibrations, and water. It has been extensively tested prior to shipment. The product is covered by a 2-year replacement warranty from the date of purchase.

Congratulations on your purchase of a HealTech Electronics Headlight Eliminator module (HLE). This unit will fit select Aprilia and KTM motorcycles. The Plug ‘n Go connector makes installation quick and easy, eliminating the need to alter the bike’s original wiring.

Attention: Motorcycles without lighting devices (i.e. headlights) aren’t allowed on public roads! Please keep your track/race bike where it belongs – on the racetrack! Do not use on public roads.

Installation

  • Before installing this product, please make sure you got the right part for your bike. See the part number on the packaging and use the Product Advisor on our website to check compatibility.
  • These instructions are applicable to a wide range of motorcycles and describe the main install steps needed for a successful installation. You can find motorcycle-specific Supplementary Manuals on our website.

Follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect the headlight unit and remove it.
  2. Plug the HLE module into the 8-pin headlight connector on the main wiring harness.
