Switchable exhaust servo motor eliminator module
ESE-SW-xxx
Foreword
Congratulations on your purchase of a HealTech Electronics Switchable Exhaust Servo Eliminator module (ESE-SW).
This unit will fit various motorcycle models that have an exhaust valve and a servo motor.
The Plug ‘n Go connector makes installation quick and easy, eliminating the need to alter the bike’s original wiring.
You have the option to control the exhaust valve operation with the supplied switch.
Installation
Before installing this product, please make sure you have the right part for your bike. See the part number on the packaging and use the Product Advisor on our website to check compatibility.
These instructions are applicable to a wide range of motorcycles and describe the main installation steps needed for a successful installation. You can find motorcycle-specific Supplementary Manuals on our website.

Disclaimer: Do not attempt to install the product if you don’t have basic mechanical skills. HealTech Electronics Ltd. and its distributors shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by improper installation.
If in doubt, please consult with your dealer.
Follow these steps:
- Locate the stock exhaust servo motor.
- Unplug the connector of the servo motor.
- Connect the ESE-SW module connectors in line with the servo motor connector.
- Secure the unit well with the supplied Velcro strips. Use the supplied cable ties to fasten the wiring harness to a solid part of the bike.
- Connect the 2-pole plug of the remote switch. Route the harness towards the front end of the bike and secure the remote switch with the supplied cable ties.
- Only for the ESE-SW-A03, -K01, -S0x, -Y01 models: Connect the ESE-SW separate red wire to a +12V switched power lead.
Refer to the bike-specific Supplementary Manuals on our website.
Usage of the Red wire tap connector:
Place the unstripped run wire (bike +12V wire) inside the run channel. Close the side cover until the latches. Cut off the excess length, then insert the unstripped tap wire (ESE-SW red) completely and check its position. Insert the blade (u-contact) and press down by finger pressure. Then, fully depress the u-contact with pliers. Close the hinged top cover until the latches.
Warranty
The unit is completely sealed and epoxy encapsulated, which gives extreme protection for the internal parts from shocks, vibrations, and water.
To ensure trouble-free operation from the start, all units have been extensively tested prior to shipment. Our dealers are offering a 30-day money-back guarantee on HealTech products; thus, you will get your money back if the product does not fulfill your expectations (all parts must be returned in original condition for a full refund).
Furthermore, the product is covered by our 2-year replacement warranty from the date of purchase.

Operation
Switch position:![]() Mode: VALVE CLOSED LED color: BLINKING RED In this mode, the exhaust valve is almost fully closed; thus, the noise level is the lowest. Use this mode ONLY for short periods, with light throttle and low speed. Performance is restricted. Extended use may be harmful to the engine. |
Switch position:![]() Mode: FACTORY LED color: GREEN The exhaust valve is controlled by the ECU normally. If there’s a problem with the exhaust valve or the servo motor, the dashboard will show the error as usual. |
Switch position:![]() Mode: VALVE OPEN LED color: RED The exhaust valve is kept in the fully open position. If there’s a problem with the exhaust valve or the servo motor, the dashboard will NOT show the error (if a servo error was registered previously, the FI light may stay ON for the next 3-5 rides). |
Attention:
- You can toggle the switch to change operation mode even while riding.
- Always select the FACTORY mode when riding on public roads. Otherwise, your bike’s noise emission level can be increased, which might violate local emission norms/regulations in your country.
- On Aprilia models, if you switch to Factory mode while the engine is running, you may need to pull the throttle for a moment to reset the exhaust valve to the factory position.
