Appearance
The MUAMA Ryoko 4G LTE Pocket WiFi device has the following components:
- 1. 1.44" LCD Display: Shows 4G Signal, SMS, Battery, number of connected devices, Operator name (Smile), Wi-Fi name (SSID), Wi-Fi Key, and Data Usage.
- 2. Power Button: Press and hold to turn the 4G Hotspot On or Off.
- 3. Micro USB Port: For charging and data transfer.
- 4. Micro SD Card Slot: Supports TF cards up to 32GB.
- 5. SIM Card Slot: For a standard SIM card.
- 6. Hole for Strap: For attaching a strap.
- 7. Reset Button: Press and hold to restore the 4G hotspot to its factory settings. If the user name, password, or SSID is forgotten, restoring to factory settings is recommended.
- 8. WPS Button: For Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
Installation
The installation process involves inserting the SIM card and potentially a Micro SD card.
Wi-Fi Connection
The default SSID (Wi-Fi network name) and Wi-Fi network key are printed on the 4G Hotspot Label. It is strongly recommended to change the default SSID and Wi-Fi key to keep your data secure.
Default Information:
- Default SSID: Ryoko_******
- Default Password: 12345678 (refer to the sticker on the device)
You can manage your 4G hotspot through the Web Interface at http://192.168.0.1. The default username and password are 'admin'.
Charging
The device can be charged using a compatible charger via the Micro USB port. Using an incompatible charger may cause malfunction or damage. The charger is an optional accessory.
Connecting to the Internet
Using an LTE network: The 4G Hotspot management parameters are preset according to the operator's requirements. The device automatically connects to the internet when data is transmitted and disconnects after a period of inactivity.
To configure connection settings, log into the web management page and navigate to Network Setting > Connection Mode.
Logging into the Web Management page:
- Ensure the 4G Hotspot is connected to the device used for internet access.
- Open a browser on your device and enter http://192.168.0.1.
- Enter the username and password (default: admin) to log in.
Wi-Fi Sleep Mode (Battery Saving Mode): The device can automatically turn off Wi-Fi when no devices are connected to save battery life. This mode can be enabled and configured in the Web Management page under Advanced Settings > Power Save > Wi-Fi Sleep Mode.
Restoring to Factory Settings
If you forget your username, password, or SSID, you can restore the device to its default factory settings by pressing and holding the RESET button until the 4G Hotspot restarts.
Changing SSID and Password
It is recommended to change the default SSID and password for security. This can be done through the SSID settings in the web interface.
Enable SD Card Sharing
The device supports sharing the Micro SD card via HTTP Share Mode (accessible through a web browser) or USB Access Only. The device supports FAT/FAT32 file systems.
Sharing Options:
- Mode: USB or HTTP SHARE
- Share Setting: Enable or Disable
- File to Share: Entire SD Card or Custom
- Access Type: Read/Write or Read Only
- Path to Share: Specify a sharing path (e.g., /Picture). Certain characters are not allowed in the path.
SMS
The device allows management of SMS messages, with options to create new messages, delete, and refresh.
Tips
- Why isn't my 4G Hotspot responding? Try restarting the device or restoring it to factory settings.
- Why can't I connect to my 4G Hotspot sometimes? The Wi-Fi auto-off feature might be active. Press the power button to re-enable Wi-Fi, or disable the feature in the web interface.
- Why won't my 4G Hotspot connect to the network? The PIN verification feature might be enabled.
- Why can't I access the Web Interface at 192.168.0.1? This could be an IP address conflict. Try accessing it via 192.168.2.1.
- Why won't my 4G Hotspot power on? Check if the battery is charged.
- Why did my 4G Hotspot power off all of a sudden? The device may have overheated. Ensure proper ventilation and cooling.
