SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Installation must only be carried out by qualified persons.
  • Make sure that the installation complies with each country is current mechanical and electrical norms.
  •  Once ready to use, the apparatus must fulfill the following standard:
  • Standard for LOW Pressure Installments 2014/35 EU
  • Standard for Electromagnetic Compatibility 2014/30 EU
  • Ventilators, or apparatus that include them, have been designed to move the air in the area stipulated on their characteristics plate.
  • This apparatus must not be used in explosive or corrosive atmospheres.
  • If a ventilator is going to be installed to extract air from premises where a boiler or other combustion apparatus are installed, make sure that the building has sufficient air intakes to assure adequate combustion. The extractor outlet must not be connected to a duct used exhaust smoke or fumes from any appliance that uses gas or any other type of fuel.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm per-sons unless they have been adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the appliance safely. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

TRANSPORTATION

  • The packaging used for this apparatus has been designed to support normal transporting conditions. The fan should be kept in original pack-age as preventing to deform or damage the product.
  • The product should be stored in a dry place in its original packaging, protected from dust and dirt until it is installed in its final location.
  • Do not accept delivery if the apparatus is not in its original packaging or shows clear signs of having been manipulated in any way.
  • Do not place heavy weights on the packed product and avoid knocking or dropping it.

INSTALLATION

  • Make sure there are no loose elements near the ventilator, as they could run the risk of being sucked up by it. If it is going to be installed in a duct, check that it is clean of any element that could be sucked up by the ventilator.
  • When installing an apparatus, make sure that all the fittings are in place and that the structure which supports it is resistant enough to bear its weight at full functioning power.
  • Before manipulating the apparatus, make sure the mains supply is dis-connected, even if the machine is switched off.
  • Check that the mains supply voltage and frequency values coincide with the stipulations on the characteristics plate.
  • The electrical installation must include a double pole switch with a con-tact clearance of at least 3 mm, correctly sized and in accordance with the electrical standards of the country of installation.
  •  Please follow the connections diagram for the electrical connections.
  • If an earth connection is necessary, check that it correctly connected and that adequate thermal and overloading protection has been con-nected and adjusted to the corresponding limits.
  • If a ventilator is installed in a duct, the duct must be exclusively for the ventilation system.

Before starting up the machine, make sure that:

  • The apparatus is well secured and the electrical connections have been carried out correctly.
  • No loose material or fitting remains can be sucked up by the ventila-tor, If the ventilator has been mounted in a duct, make sure it is clear of loose material.
  • The earth fittings are adequately connected.
  • The electrical safety devices are correctly connected, adjusted and ready for use.
  • The wire and electrical connections inputs are correctly sealed and water-tight.

When starting up the machine, make sure that:

  • The propeller turns in the correct direction.
  • There are no abnormal vibrations.
  • If any of the electrical safety devices blow, the apparatus must be quickly disconnected from the mains supply. The whole installation should be carefully checked before trying to start up the machine again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before manipulating the ventilator, make sure it is disconnected from the mains supply even if it has previously been switched off. Prevent the possibility of anyone else connecting it while it is being manipulated.
  • The apparatus must be regularly inspected. These inspections should be carried out bearing in mind the machine is working conditions, in order to avoid dirt or dust accumulating on the propeller, turbine, motor or grids. This could be dangerous and perceptibly shorten the working life of the ventilator unit.
  • While cleaning, great care should be taken not to unstable the propeller or turbine.
  • All maintenance and repair work should be carried out in strict compliance with each country is current safety regulations.

We pay particular attention to the quality of our devices, thus we appreciate any comments, references, or suggestions regarding the technical and operational properties of the equipment we distribute. To avoid misunderstandings, please carefully read the installation and operation manual.
The serial number of the device, found on the metal plate attached to the device or on a label on the housing, must match the number indicated on the warranty certificate. The warranty certificate is valid only if it correctly specifies the device model, serial number, sale date, and the protective sticker on the electrical box panel is intact, with legible seller’s stamps and buyer’s signature. The information on the warranty certificate must not be altered, erased, or rewritten, as this invalidates the certificate. This warranty certificate confirms Ventia sp. z o.o.’s guarantee obligations under the sales regulations and the Civil Code. The warranty is granted personally to the customer and is non-transferable. Ventia sp. z o.o. reserves the right to refuse free warranty service if the below-mentioned warranty conditions are violated.
Due to production processes, component availability, etc., we reserve the right to modify and change the product at any time without prior notice.

WARRANTY TERMS

  1. Pursuant to the Article 558 § 1 of the Civil Code, the statutory warranty for the product is excluded.
  2. Ventia Sp. z o.o., headquartered in Raszyn (05-090), at ul. Słowikowskie-go 81, registered in the National Court Register kept by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, 13th Commercial Division, under KRS number 0000342440 (hereinafter referred to as Ventia Sp. z o.o.), as the GUARAN-TOR, grants a warranty to the Client (the entity purchasing the product covered by the warranty directly from Ventia Sp. z o.o., hereinafter referred to as the Client) in accordance with the terms outlined below. The granting of the war-ranty under the conditions described herein is confirmed by issuing the Client a named confirmation document. Such confirmation is typically an invoice.
    • HAVACO products – a warranty is granted for a period of 24 months from the date of sale.
    • Spare parts – a warranty is granted for 12 months from the date of sale or repair service.
  3.  Ventia Sp. z o.o. grants the Client a warranty for manufacturing defects of the device. The warranty does not cover malfunctions caused by installation errors or improper use of the device, particularly if it is not used in accordance with its intended purpose or in working conditions for which the device is not designed.
  4. The Client is obligated to inform any parties to whom the Product is resold (product user) that all product defects must first be reported to the installation company or reseller, since only the Client may effectively submit warranty claims.
  5. The Client is also obligated to inform parties to whom the Product is resold of the user’s responsibilities as outlined in Ventia Sp. z o.o.’s sales terms and herein Warranty Terms.
  6. In order to confirm a manufacturing defect or warranty-related damage during the warranty period, Ventia Sp. z o.o. may require the Client to verify with the end user that the reported defect is indeed a manufacturing defect and not the result of incorrect installation, improper use, or another cause.
  7. If a manufacturing defect or warranty-related damage is confirmed during the warranty period, Ventia Sp. z o.o. will, within 14 business days, provide at no cost either the necessary spare parts to eliminate the defect or repair the unit through its factory service in Poland. In the case of spare parts being provided, the Client is responsible for carrying out the repair. Damaged parts must be returned by the Client to Ventia Sp. z o.o. along with a description and case number. Failure to return the damaged parts within 14 calendar days entitles Ventia Sp. z o.o. to issue the Client a VAT invoice for the provided spare parts. Ventia Sp. z o.o. decides on the method of repair—either by supplying parts or by service at the end user’s site.
  8. The claimant must ensure free and safe access to the device to allow service work to be carried out. The service technician may refuse to perform warranty or post-
    – warranty repairs if the device’s location or installation method prevents access or effective repair. The claimant is responsible for providing any necessary equipment (e.g., ladder, scaffold) to facilitate the repair. Failure to provide adequate access will result in refusal of repair and a charge for travel and technician labor costs.
  9.  The repair or part supply period may be extended to 30 business days if necessary parts or components must be imported from abroad.
  10. In specific cases, the repair may be performed at the Service Department located at the Ventia Sp. z o.o. headquarters. The Client must properly secure the product for transport and bear the shipping cost to Ventia Sp. z o.o. Ventia Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to decide whether the repair will take place at its headquarters or at the installation site.
  11.  To maintain warranty rights, the installation must be carried out by an authorized installation company, in accordance with the product’s intended purpose and the installation and operation manual. If the repair is carried out by factory service, the Client must provide the technician with a free access area to the device, in accordance with point 8.
  12. To maintain warranty rights, depending on the product, the Client is required to:
    • To carry out at least two maintenance inspections per year of the purchased device.
      The inspections should be performed in the autumn-winter and winter-spring periods. The inspections are paid services and must be conducted by qualified companies.
    • The Client is obligated to keep maintenance of the device, in particular to periodically replace air filters (if applicable).
    • Each service inspection must be recorded in the device’s warranty card, and refusal to provide the warranty card will result in the loss of warranty.
  13. The warranty does not cover:
    •  Damage or malfunction of the device resulting from errors made during installation or from a poorly designed system.
    •  Improper functioning of the device due to use inconsistent with its intended purpose or contrary to the installation and operation manual.
    • Consequences of force majeure or other circumstances specific to a particular site for which the manufacturer is not responsible, such as transport damage, lightning strikes, mechanical damage, power surges, moisture ingress, voltage drops, etc.
    • Damage resulting from failure to comply with the operational and maintenance conditions of the devices.
    • Damage resulting from failure to perform the tasks specified in the user manual as tasks to be performed by the user (e.g., filter replacement).
    • Claims related to the technical parameters of the devices unless they are inconsistent with those stated in the technical documentation.
    • Devices that were installed, modified, or repaired by unqualified personnel.
    • Devices for which mandatory periodic technical inspections were not perfor-med – with the frequency specified in the guidelines for the respective product group.
    • Cases where the warranty card lacks entries or is illegible/incompletely filled out.
    • Devices without legible factory serial numbers.
    • Devices that have been structurally altered.
  14.  In the case of an unjustified warranty claim, the claimant is obliged to cover the costs of processing the complaint, travel expenses, and the work of the factory service team. The device will be repaired at the claimant’s expense.
  15. Ventia Sp. z o.o. is not liable for operational damages or damages resulting from the device’s operation (including, for example, flooding caused by condensate). Ventia Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage to people, pets, or property if such damage results from a breach of the device’s operating and installation conditions, or from intentional or negligent behavior of the users or third parties.
  16. The proof of purchase and a properly filled-out warranty card serve as confir-mation of the warranty being granted and the fulfillment of the guarantor’s conditions.
  17. The Client is required to report a warranty claim within 7 calendar days of di-scovering the product defect. Claims are accepted only electronically through the service platform: https://wsparcie.ventia.pl . Ventia Sp. z o.o. will review the warranty claim within 14 business days from the date of receiving the notification and will inform the Client in writing, by email, or by phone regarding the accep-tance or rejection of the claim. The product defects will be removed by Ventia Sp. z o.o. without undue delay. The Client will be notified of the repair date in writing, via email, or by phone.
  18. In the case of an unjustified service call, the Client/Claimant agrees to cover: Travel expenses at the rate of 2.55 PLN/km (net); Service labor at the rate of 200 PLN/hour (net) (charged per every started hour); A minimum service travel fee of 190 PLN (net). Travel is always understood as: Ventia Sp. z o.o. headquarters
    → repair site → Ventia Sp. z o.o. headquarters. If the malfunction is determined to be caused by factors other than manufacturing defects – especially due to: improper use, lack of periodic maintenance service, incorrect installation of the product, inappropriate system setup, electrical surges, moisture damage, failure resulting from the lack of continuous operation of the device – the repair will be carried out at the expense of the Client/Claimant.
  19. The warranty is granted only if the Client is not in arrears with any payments to Ventia Sp. z o.o. If the Client has outstanding payments, Ventia Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to refuse warranty repairs and the shipment of spare parts.

Attention!
In the case of disputes in which the device or one of its components has burned out, the absence of a photo documenting the method of electrical connection may result in the rejection of the warranty claim.
Additionally, disassembly of the device without first taking the required photo documentation and shipping it without a complete submission (via the service platform) may result in the rejection of the warranty claim.
