Mara waya mai ba da wutar lantarki Cibiya mara waya ta tsaye ita kaɗai wacce ke ba duk kwamfutar da ke da adaftar cibiyar sadarwa mara waya damar sadarwa tare da wata kwamfutar da ke cikin wannan hanyar sadarwa da haɗi zuwa Intanet.
WLAN (Wireless Local- Area Network) Nau'in cibiyar sadarwa na yanki mai amfani da manyan igiyoyin rediyo maimakon wayoyi don sadarwa tsakanin nodes.
WPA* (Kariyar Wi-Fi) Wannan ingantaccen tsaro ne wanda ke haɓaka matakin kariyar bayanai da ikon samun dama ga hanyar sadarwa mara waya. WPA mizanin wucin gadi ne wanda za'a maye gurbinsa da ma'aunin IEEE na 802.11i bayan kammalawarsa. WPA ya ƙunshi RC4 da TKIP kuma yana ba da tallafi ga yanayin BSS (Infrastructure) kawai. WPA da WPA2 sun dace.

Wannan shine ƙarni na biyu na WPA wanda ya dace da ƙayyadaddun IEEE TGi. WPA2 ya ƙunshi boye-boye AES, riga-kafi da caching PMKID. Yana ba da tallafi don yanayin BSS (Infrastructure) da IBSS (ad hoc) yanayin. WPA da WPA2 sun dace.
WPA-Kasuwanci Kasuwancin Kariyar Wi-Fi yana aiki ga masu amfani da kamfanoni. Sabuwar tushen ma'auni, fasahar tsaro mai ma'amala don LAN mara waya (bangaren daftarin ma'aunin IEEE 802.11i) wanda ke ɓoye bayanan da aka aika akan raƙuman ruwa. WPA ƙayyadaddun Wi-Fi ne wanda aka ƙera don ingantawa akan abubuwan tsaro na WEP kamar haka:

Tabbacin mai amfani, wanda gabaɗaya ya ɓace a cikin WEP, ta hanyar ƙa'idar tabbatarwa ta extensible (EAP). WEP tana tsara hanyar shiga hanyar sadarwa mara waya bisa takamaiman adireshin MAC na kwamfuta, wanda yake da sauƙin shakewa da sata. An gina EAP akan ingantaccen tsarin ɓoyayyen maɓalli na jama'a don tabbatar da cewa masu amfani da hanyar sadarwa masu izini kawai za su iya shiga hanyar sadarwar.

WPA-PSK (Wi-Fi

Maɓallin Shigar da Kariya da Kariya)

Yanayin WPA-PSK baya amfani da sabar tantancewa. Ana iya amfani da shi tare da nau'ikan ɓoye bayanan WEP ko TKIP. WPA-PSK yana buƙatar saitin maɓallin da aka riga aka raba (PSK). Dole ne ku shigar da kalmar wucewa ko haruffa hex 64 don maɓallin da aka riga aka raba na tsawon 256-bits.
