Introduction
The BlueSYNC BX portable speaker can provide room-filling sounds with its two side-firing 50mm precision drivers and 12W peak audio. With its travel-friendly dimensions and unusual compact cube shape, neither the media controls for USB source MP3 playing, the LED accent lights, the NFC for simple pairing, nor the physical volume knob are sacrificed in favour of audio power.

Frequently Asked Questions
You can’t select tracks from a thumb drive. The songs will play in the order they are listed. You can, however, skip over a song.
It connects to ANY device that is bluetooth capable.
It has a volume knob, so you can adjust the volume. If it was turned all the way up, you would need to be a lot further away to make a call. It is VERY loud for its size.
Yes leave pugged in the battery that comes with it is only good for a few hours I would buy a Nokia brand battery
WOW….this is a puzzle since I have not had these problems. Perhaps try a smaller usb, I’ve used an 8 gb usb with no problem, I’ve connected it to a smart phone, to a mp3 player & it all worked. Try again, but it could be that your device is damaged & may have to exchange it. Good luck!
It can only connect to one speaker at a time
Mine came with a universal 3.5 mm cable (you can plug this into the headphone jack of your phone) and a USB cable (you can use this to charge the battery). FYI the battery is removable and you can buy a spare battery and a wall charger for less than $10, that is what i did and then I swap out the battery when it dies.
Yes, it will work with anything with a headphone port. So basically anything you can use headphones with will work with this.
The SonaVerse BX will play MP3 files from a USB flash drive an SD card and a line in from any music player! So if you are having problems with just one flash drive you should try a different one, if you still have problems then contact the manufacturer. The unit that I have plays files from all the ports.
I used it to plug into my tablet. I discovered that the speaker always had to be plugged up electrically. Without it, it would not work. I stopped using it. It’s still new, but too much of a nuisance. It kept dropping connection making a “bloop, bloop, bloop” sound. Good luck to you.
Yes, but it’s probably self defeating. It takes a couple hours to charge the battery and the one I had would play for less than 1 1/2 hours. So the battery is not very powerful, even on a full charge.
No, you would need to press the play button before the SonaVERSE BX starts playing music when you have a device that plays mp3 files.
It is not set up to do that. The audio input is through the speaker output of the computer, but there is no audio output on the speaker itself. There is a USB port in the speaker, so there may be some way to connect through that, but I wouldn’t know how to do that.
Addressing some other readers’ issue, mine does not whine at all and after a few months, I deem it a good value for the money. If you have a problem you should go to the GoGroove website and get it replaced. Don’t expect loud boom-box audio, but it has good frequency response for its size and, as a bass guitarist, I am impressed with the bass volume for such a small cube.
