1. Installation:
Connect the smart box to the original car’s USB data interface
using the provided connectors.
2. Apple CarPlay:
- Click on Smartlink to enter the carplay/Auto connection
interface. - Read the box data and wait for the Bluetooth name to be
displayed as: smartBox-XXXX. - Open iPhone Bluetooth, search for the Bluetooth device name:
smartBox-XXXX, and click to connect and allow synchronization. - Click “Use Allow” to complete the connection process.
3. Android Auto:
- Click on Smartlink to enter the carplay/Auto connection
interface. - Read the box data and wait for Bluetooth to be displayed with
the name: smartBox-XXXX. - Open the Bluetooth settings on your Android phone, search for
the device name: smartBox-XXXX, and click to connect. - Wait for a moment for the Auto display screen to appear.
4. Software Online Upgrade:
iPhone:
- Move the smart box to the USB power adapter.
- Join the WiFi network named smartBox_xxxx.
- Enter the password on your iPhone: 88888888.
- Enter IP 192.168.1.101 in Safari browser and press ‘Click to
Upgrade’. - Wait for a few minutes for the upgrade process to
complete.
Android Phone:
- Follow similar steps as for iPhone but using an Android
device.
