This product is a professional photographic equipment, to be operated by professional personnel only. All transport protective materials and packaging on the product must be removed before use. The following basic safety precautions must be followed when using this product:
1. Carefully read and fully understand the instruction manual before use and strictly follow the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in serious injury, damage to the product, or other property damage.
2. This product is a professional lighting fixture, children are prohibited from using it. Children must be closely supervised by adults when approaching the fixture, to prevent collisions with the fixture or unauthorized use that could cause personal injury.
3. This is not an ordinary lighting fixture and must not be used for general illumination. Anyone with a history of eye damage or sensitivity should avoid using this fixture or looking directly at it.
4. Extreme caution must be exercised when using it, do not touch hightemperature parts such as flash tubes to avoid burns.

8. Stop using immediately if the product shell is cracked due to falling, squeezing, or strong impact, to avoid touching the internal electronic components and getting an electric shock.
9. This device is not waterproof. Keep it dry and avoid immersing it in water or other liquids. Thank you for purchasing! Godox’s new camera flash iT20 S has an ultra-compact body to enable direct insertion into camera hot shoes. With TTL auto flash and manual flash modes, it supports ±3 steps FEC adjustment with ±1/3 fine-tuning and 1/32~1/1 flash power range with ±1/3 fine-tuning. The built-in lithium battery ensures longlasting working time, attached magnetic spreader and color filter provide more creations. It’s compatible with various Sony cameras.

Note: 1.Press and hold the – button and + button at the same time to reset the device in abnormalities, then press and hold the power switch button to reboot. 2.Press and hold the M button for 2s when not USB-connected can turn on/off the sleep function. 3. Press and hold the M button for 2s when USB-connected can enter firmware upgrade.

Installing/Disassembling the Camera Flash
Insert the camera flash into the camera hot shoe base parallelly until it’s firmly locked.

Press and hold the detach button, take off the flash from the camera hot shoe base parallelly.
Please make sure the flash and camera are powered off before installing and disassembling.
Power Switch/Test Button
Power on: Press and hold the power switch button until the screen lights up. Power Off: Press and hold the power switch button until the screen blacks out. Testing: Press the test button after powering on to fire a testing flash.
TTL Auto Flash
Press the M button to switch to TTL mode, <TTL> icon will be displayed on the panel. Press the – button/+ button to adjust the FEC value among ±3 steps with ±1/3 increment. Press and hold the buttons to achieve quick adjustment. The <MAX> icon will be displayed on the panel in max flash output power, please adjust the camera parameters in case of underexposure.
Manual Flash
Press the M button to switch to M mode, <M> icon will be displayed on the panel. Press the – button/+ button to adjust the flash power from 1/32 to 1/1 full power with ±1/3 increment. Press and hold the buttons to achieve quick adjustment.

Battery Level Indication
The battery level is indicated by the < > icon, three grids means full battery level. Please charge the battery in time when one grid remained.
Auto Off
The device will be automatically powered off when idling for 8 hours unconnected to cameras in sleep mode.

Over-Temperature Protection

To avoid overheating and deteriorating the flash head, do not fire more than 40 continuous flashes in fast succession at 1/1 full power, if you fire more than the mentioned continuous flashes and then fire more flashes in short intervals, the inner over-temperature protection function may be activated and make the recycling time over 10 seconds. If this occurs, allow a rest time of about 10 minutes, and the flash unit will then return to normal.
When the over-temperature protection is started, < > is shown on the screen.
