1. Introdución

The JOYO JT-305 is a chromatic pedal tuner designed for guitar and bass. It features a large LED display for clear visibility on stage and offers multiple display modes. 3.1 Alimentación da unidade

The JT-305 can be powered by either a 9V battery or an optional 9V DC AC adapter (center negative, 600mA or greater). A 9V battery is included with the unit.

3.2 Conexión do instrumento

Connect your instrument (guitar or bass) to the 'INPUT' jack on the right side of the pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable. Connect the 'OUTPUT' jack on the left side of the pedal to your amplifier ou outros pedais de efectos.

4. Funcionamento

4.1 Procedemento de afinación

1. Activar o sintonizador: Press the footswitch to engage the tuner. The display will illuminate, and your instrument's signal will be muted.
2. Play a Note: Play a single note on your instrument. The display will show the detected note name (e.g., 'E', 'A', 'D', 'G', 'B', 'e') and an indication of whether it is sharp (#) or flat (b).
3. Axustar o ton: The LED meter will indicate if the note is flat (left side), sharp (right side), or in tune (center). Adjust your instrument's tuning pegs until the note is centered and the display indicates it is in tune. The note flows left and right, making it easy to recognize tuning status.
4. Disengage Tuner: Press the footswitch again to disengage the tuner. Your instrument's signal will be restored, and the tuner will be bypassed.

4.2 Modos de visualización

The JT-305 offers four display modes to suit your preference. To change the display mode, press the 'DISPLAY' button located on the rear panel of the unit (refer to Figure 1).

4.3 Axuste da calibración

The A4 reference frequency can be adjusted from 436 Hz to 445 Hz. To change the calibration, press the 'CALIB' button located on the rear panel of the unit (refer to Figure 1). Each press will cycle through the available frequencies in 1 Hz steps.

4.4 True Bypass Function

The JT-305 features true bypass circuitry. This means that when the tuner is disengaged (bypassed), your instrument's signal passes directly through the pedal without any electronic buffering or processing. This preserves the original tone of your instrument and other pedals in your signal chain.
