1. Introdución

4. Configuración

4.1 Charging the Remote Controller

Before initial use, ensure the remote controller is fully charged. Connect the remote to a USB power source using a compatible charging cable (not included).

4.2 Pairing with Your Action Camera

1. Ensure your DJI Osmo Action 4 or Action 5 Pro camera is powered on and in pairing mode (refer to your camera's manual for specific instructions).

4. Select your action camera from the list of available devices to establish a connection. A successful connection will typically be indicated on both the remote and camera screens.

4.3 Wearing and Mounting

• Wrist Mount: Use the provided long or short wrist strap to secure the remote controller comfortably on your wrist.

5. Instrucións de funcionamento

5.1 Controis básicos

The remote controller features a small display and several buttons for intuitive operation. Refer to the image below for button identification:

Typically, the buttons allow you to:

• Iniciar/Deter a gravación
• Fai fotos
• Cambia entre os modos de cámara
• Access settings (limited functionality)

The display provides real-time information such as recording status, battery level, and GPS signal strength.

5.2 Funcionalidade do GPS

The integrated GPS module automatically tracks your location and movement data during recording. This information is embedded in your footage and can be used to:

• Record speed, altitude, and route data.
• Add dashboards and overlays to your videos using the DJI Mimo app, enriching your content with dynamic statistics.

5.3 DJI Mimo App Integration

For full utilization of the GPS data and advanced editing features, connect your action camera to the DJI Mimo app. The app allows you to:

6. Mantemento

• Limpeza: Wipe the remote controller with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp pódese usar un pano. Evite produtos químicos agresivos ou materiais abrasivos.
• Almacenamento: Store the remote controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Resistencia á auga: The remote controller has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Ensure all ports are securely closed before exposure to water. It is not designed for diving or prolonged underwater use.

7 Solución de problemas

• O mando a distancia non se acende: Ensure the remote controller is fully charged.
• Unable to pair with camera:
  • Check if both the remote and camera are in pairing mode.
  • Ensure the camera is compatible with the remote (DJI Osmo Action 4/5 Pro).
  • Restart both the remote and the camera and try pairing again.
  • Asegúrate de que ningún outro dispositivo Bluetooth estea a interferir coa conexión.
• GPS data not recording: Ensure the remote has a clear view of the sky to acquire a GPS signal. Check the remote's display for GPS signal strength.

8. Consellos de usuario

• Water Usage Clarification: While the remote is IPX7 water-resistant, it is not suitable for diving. IPX7 protects against accidental immersion, but not sustained pressure or deep water.
• Mimo App for Data Overlays: Remember to use the DJI Mimo app to add GPS-based dashboards (like speed and altitude) to your videos, making your action footage more informative and dynamic.
