Giada iM1-210 COM Module

Usage Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the Giada IM1-210 module from its packaging.
- Static Precautions: Before handling the module, ensure you are wearing a wrist-grounding strap to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.
- Power Disconnection: Always ensure the power supply is disconnected before installing or removing any components.
- Module Installation: Mount the IM1-210 module onto a compatible carrier board according to the carrier board’s instructions. Ensure all connectors are properly aligned and seated.
- Peripheral Connections: Connect necessary peripherals such as display (HDMI, DP, eDP, or LVDS), camera (MIPI-CSI), USB devices, Ethernet cables, and serial devices to the carrier board.
- Power Connection: Connect a DC-IN 5V power supply (within the 4V to 5.25V range) to the carrier board.
- Operating System Installation: Install your chosen operating system (Windows 11 or Linux 64-bit) onto the module’s eMMC storage or an external SATA III drive. Refer to your OS installation guide for detailed steps.
- First Boot: Power on the system. Monitor the boot process and ensure all connected peripherals are recognized.
- The module supports multiple display outputs: HDMI, DisplayPort, eDP, and dual-channel LVDS.
- Note that eDP and LVDS are co-lay, meaning they share some resources and may not be usable simultaneously in all configurations. Consult your carrier board documentation for specific limitations.
- Configure display settings within your operating system to achieve desired resolutions and refresh rates (up to 4096 x 2160 @60 Hz for HDMI/DP, 3840 x 2160 @60 Hz for eDP, and 1920 x 1080 @60 Hz for LVDS).
- Connect Ethernet cables to the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports on your carrier board.
- Configure network settings within your operating system to establish network connectivity. The module supports TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking).
- Connect MIPI-CSI cameras to the appropriate 2-lane or 4-lane MIPI-CSI interfaces on your carrier board.
- Install the necessary drivers and software for your specific camera modules within your operating system.

Troubleshooting
No Power / System Not Booting
- Check Power Supply: Ensure the DC-IN 5V power supply is correctly connected and providing power within the specified range (4V to 5.25V).
- Module Seating: Verify that the IM1-210 module is securely seated on the carrier board.
- Carrier Board Issues: If possible, test the carrier board with another compatible module or check its power indicators.
- Static Damage: If proper ESD precautions were not followed, static damage might have occurred. Contact support.
No Display Output
- Cable Connection: Ensure display cables (HDMI, DP, LVDS, eDP) are securely connected at both ends.
