Dräger X-am 2800
Multigas Detection System (Ex, O2, CO, H2S, NO2 ou SO2)
Product description
The Portable Multi-Gas Detector The X-am® 2800 portable multi-gas detector is specially designed for personal monitoring in industrial environments. It can simultaneously measure up to four gases (explosive gases, O, CO, HS, NO, or SO). It combines performance, robustness, and safety while reducing operating costs.
Poison-resistant Ex SR sensor The next-generation Ex sensor is highly robust, resistant to shocks, silicone poisoning, and hydrogen sulfide. It can be calibrated in just a few seconds, offers excellent shock resistance, and has a lifespan of over 4 years.
Long-life electrochemical sensors
Equipped with long-lasting XXS sensors, the device ensures reliable
measurements of O, CO, HS, NO, or SO gases. These sensors are

energy-efficient and highly durable.
Measuring Range:
· Combustible gases: 0 to 100% LEL in 1% increments · Oxygen (O): 0 to 30% vol. in 0.1% increments · Carbon monoxide (CO): 0 to 2,000 ppm in 1 ppm increments · Hydrogen sulfide (HS): 0 to 200 ppm in 0.1 ppm increments
Alarms:
Ergonomic and robust Compact and lightweight, the detector is designed for maximum comfort. It’s easy to wear and operate–even with gloves–thanks to its large buttons. The clear display shows key information such as gas readings, alarms, and time. The green D-light LED indicates that the device is ready for use.
Audible and visual (red LED for gas alarm, yellow LED for device-re-
lated alarm) Dimensions (W x H x D): 130 x 48 x 44 mm Weight : 250 g Ambient Conditions :
· Protection rating: IP68 · Temperature: -20 to +50 °C
Maximum safety Approved for use in Ex zone 0, the X-am 2800 ensures maximum safety in hazardous environments. It complies with IP68 standards and features four alarm thresholds for oxygen, including pre-alarm and main alarm levels. In addition to the manual emergency alarm, an optional motionless alarm provides full personal protection.
· Relative humidity: 10 to 95% RH
