Finding the Learn Button

• a) For units with five terminal screws at the
  back:
  1. Remove the black cover near the terminal screws.
  2. The Learn button is a red button underneath that cover.
• b) For units with four terminal screws possibly hidden
  by a plastic cover:
  1. Take off the lamp cover; then remove the red or green
     panel.
  2. Look for a small button labeled ‘Learn’.
• c) If a Merlin wall switch is connected:
  1. The Learn function is handled through the wall switch’s small
     button.

On roller door openers:

• a) For models with a small red square button on the front:

Programming Steps:

1. Hold the Learn button for 1-2 seconds.
2. Press the button on your remote control twice.
3. (Optional for lamp control):
1. Hold the Learn button for 1-2 seconds.
2. Press the remote button once to set it for the main door
   operation.
3. Press the same button again to assign the light control
   function.
