DM Series Monitor Firmware Update
Download new firmware from FlandersScientific.com
You can check the monitor’s current firmware version in the System Status menu.
Unzip the downloaded file.
Do not try to open or mount the .img file.
Connect the provided Firmware Update USB Cable to the monitor’s right USB port and your computer’s USB port.
The monitor will appear in Mac’s Finder or PC’s My Computer as mass storage.
Note: If connecting to recent Mac OS platforms it may take several minutes for the monitor to appear as a mass storage device after plugging in the USB cable, please be patient.
Copy / Paste or Drag and Drop the unzipped .img Firmware file to the monitor.
Select Update Firmware from the monitor’s System (Color Management in older firmware versions) menu.
Confirm Yes when prompted to update.
Reboot the monitor when prompted after the update has succeeded.
