Installation & Switching Guide

Connecting to FreedConn Device

1. Locate the USB-C port on your FreedConn device (COLO/T-COMVB etc.).
2. Insert the microphone’s USB-C connector into the device’s port—ensure a tight fit (the device will recognize the microphone automatically).

Switching Between Soft & Hard Microphone

1. Use Soft Microphones: Directly use the pre-connected dual soft microphone heads (suitable for helmet interior installation).
2. Switch to Hard Microphone:
   • Pull out the plug-in interface of the soft microphone module.
   • Insert the plug of the desired hard microphone (either type) into the interface until it clicks.

Helmet Installation (For Soft Microphones)

1. Place the dual soft microphone heads inside the helmet (align with the mouth position for optimal pickup).
2. Route the cable along the helmet’s inner edge (avoid blocking the device’s operation area).
3. Confirm the USB-C connector is securely connected to the FreedConn device (mounted on the helmet).

Usage Notes
